Such a cozy place! I stayed a weekend with family and friends to celebrate my birthday. The place was perfect for it. I was especially very impressed with the living room and the (new) kitchen which was perfect for an event like this. The kitchen is fully equipped (lots of plates, cups, glasses etc).

November holiday 2025: A practical house with a pleasant spacious living room. Nice view from the living room! Also a nice terrace. Bedroom, bathroom, WC: all okay. Disadvantages: - bedrooms on the side of the railway: regular disturbance from passing trains at night - windows of two bedrooms on the other side could not be opened, so no ventilation possible! - temporary inconvenience: roadworks everywhere causing road closures.

Not magnificent, but basic and cramped. The accommodation described on Belvilla as “Magnificent dwelling for 18 adults” turned out to be anything but magnificent: basic and cramped, with a busy railway line nearby. Positives were the view and the private bathroom per room, but the kitchen is too small for 16 adults and the garden furniture is minimal. The rooms are stuffy, without closets and windows that barely open, and the upper floor was unusable due to the heat. Too bad that Belvilla does not adequately check the quality of their descriptions – we will not return here.

The Appelgaard has such a vibe, fr, The garden is perfect for chill hangouts and BBQs, plus the swing kept the kids busy 24/7, Spacious with 8 bedrooms, so perfect for a squad getaway.

Beautiful surroundings, ideal for a hiking holiday, very comfortable beds and each room has its own bathroom.

The house was spacious and perfect for our family gathering, The kids loved the swing set in the garden, while we enjoyed barbecuing in the evenings, The location is serene, surrounded by beautiful nature, and we were just a short drive from Maastricht and Valkenburg for some sightseeing

Everything we needed was here! Spacious for our two families, and loved the proximity to nearby attractions, The host was super friendly and helped us feel right at home

Spending a weekend at De Appelgaard was a delight, The spacious bedrooms offered us plenty of privacy, and the common areas were great for gathering, We loved being able to bring our dog along, as the area is so pet-friendly, A lovely escape from the city!

Overall, it was quite a good experience. The house is large and has enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. We didn't explore the area too much, but we found a few nice local dining options nearby. The only downside was that the heating took a little while to adjust, but the host was responsive.

This holiday home is a hidden gem! The interior is charming, and we appreciated the cleanliness throughout the property. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made meal preparation easy. We spent our days hiking nearby and visiting local attractions, such as Abbaye De Val Dieu, which was only a short drive away.

Great place for a group trip! We stayed here for a weekend and had a lot of fun. The house has everything you need and the terrace is a lovely spot for morning coffee. It's close enough to attractions like Fort Battice but still feels remote and quiet. We'll be back soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at De Appelgaard! The house is beautifully decorated and spacious enough for our large family. We especially loved the outdoor garden and the barbecue area, which made our evenings delightful. The kids had a lot of fun on the swing while we enjoyed a drink on the terrace. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Valkenburg and Maastricht. Highly recommended this charming holiday home for anyone looking to relax in nature!
