I almost never write reviews, but...
... That was a fantastic vacation! We rented a holiday home from the Kuhlke family. The humorous, open-minded Mr. Kuhlke has thought of everything in his houses: from the variety of available towels, to all the necessary household appliances (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, ...) to functional details that one is very grateful for, e.g. When I almost stumbled on the stairs while going out of the bathroom at night (because I left the light off) - but it couldn't happen, as Mr. Kuhlke had already cushioned the stairwell. On the upper floor, there was a small hook at the end of the stairs to secure the door for ventilation in the attic, at the same time serving as a stair gate to prevent children from falling down. All windows had mosquito nets, which is invaluable in the summer. And when you did open the front door to air out (Note: There is a hook on the front door to secure it at the top, so you don't need a chair to keep the door open), there was a fly swatter to keep the last mosquito away. This attention to detail and technical finesse (I think of the cover of the sunshade - brilliant idea!) really impressed me. The Kuhlke family is very fond of animals, so our dog was also allowed to come along (they even offered champagne for the adults as a welcome drink and a treat for the four-legged friend - very attentive). Mr. Kuhlke gave us useful tips for dog-friendly beaches and excursions and told us the best times to leave so that we don't end up waiting 20 minutes before the Peene Bridge. Everything was really perfect here, and we would love to come back! ! !
