Dr Christoph and Antje Brümmer (78 and 77) have spent a professional life in the Foreign Service. Christoph Brümmer, born in Hessenhagen, gradually reacquired and rebuilt his father's estate, which had been expropriated in 1946. In the meantime, he has given up the farm due to his age, but continues to live in the former "Leutehaus" (Hessenhagen No. 8). Antje Brümmer is a physiotherapist. The Brümmers have three grown-up daughters and four grandchildren.
