This spacious old brick house, renovated to a high standard, is ideal for up to 3 families with children (11 beds, 5 bedrooms, wood-heated sauna in the garden) or musicians who want to play the Steinway B grand piano.
It is beautifully situated on the edge of the village on a large plot with many fruit trees, directly on the slope of the vineyard. From the windows and the garden there is a very beautiful view of the hilly fields.
The cobblestone road is hardly used and leads to the Behrendsee, 1.5 km away.
Behind the house you can walk up the slope to the high swing, which offers a magnificent view over the fields while swinging. If you climb the steep slope even higher, you will reach the lookout point along the edge of the forest, which is 111 m high after all and offers a great view all around into the Uckermark landscape.
Only 2.5 km to a good bathing spot at Sabinensee with a large jetty and small beach for the children (10 min by bike, 4 min by car).

The house is situated at the end of the village on the slope of the vineyard with a magnificent view of the hilly landscape. Rare birds circle above the house or search for food on the cane paddock. Groß Fredenwalde lies in one of the most beautiful parts of the Uckermark. The Uckermark is one of the most sparsely populated areas in Europe. Here, nature is often left to its own devices and offers plenty of space for humans and animals. Hilly fields, deep mixed forests, lonely lakes, rarely used country lanes and always a new view from a hill into the varied landscape offer the holidaymaker a beautiful background to spend a relaxing restful holiday while hiking, cycling, bathing or just being.

Beautiful country house in the Uckermark region
We spent a very nice autumn weekend in Fredenwalde with 4 families. The house is a dream, as is the large garden with fruit trees, sauna and barbecue. Unfortunately, the time was far too short. We will come again, no question!

Holiday idyll
There were 7 of us on holiday in the country house and we had a wonderful rest. The house is beautiful, there is much to discover. You can always hear cranes, woodpeckers, roebucks... For the morning tea, the garden is richly stocked and you can pick fruit in the whole garden (we were there in August)
If there were any questions or problems, someone was there immediately (within half an hour!!!).
It doesn't get any better than this. Thank you very much!

Relaxing in the Uckermark
We had a family reunion at Landhaus Fredenwalde on three sunny autumn days. The large dining table in the kitchen was the meeting place for eight adults and four (small) children at mealtimes. The huge garden became an adventure playground. Fredenwalde is located in one of the most beautiful corners of the Uckermark. You shouldn't miss seeing the wooden baptismal angel in the church. You can fish in several nearby lakes. And if you are looking for peace and quiet or want to read, you will find many places in the beautifully furnished house where you can be with yourself and look out over the wide landscape.

Landhaustraum mit Flügel in der Uckermark
Das Landhaus in Fredenwalde ist ein wunderschön restauriertes Ferienhaus mit sehr großem Garten auf dem Lande, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben - und das keinen Wunsch offen lässt. Als Klavierspielerin war es für mich zudem ein Fest, auf dem Steinway-Flügel spielen und improvisieren zu können.
Auch in der Umgebung gibt es so einiges zu entdecken: z.B. die nahe gelegene Straußenfarm, die Wasserburg in Gerswalde oder das wundervolle Areal Schloß Boitzenburg. Bei Spaziergängen in der Umgebung lässt sich die Natur direkt vor der Haustür in vollen Zügen genießen; jetzt im Frühling ging es u.a. vorbei an blühenden Rapsfeldern. Abends haben wir den Tag beim Grillen und an der Feuerschale gemütlich ausklingen lassen.
Außerdem sehr lobenswert: Offene Fragen zum Ferienaufenthalt können vorab mit dem Vermieter unkompliziert, schnell und zeitnah geklärt werden.
Sehr gerne kommen wir einmal wieder.

Ein traumhafter Ort
Ein ganz fabelhafter Ort! Die Ruhe, die Nachtigall, der wunderbare Garten, das sehr geschmackvoll renovierte Haus, die toll ausgestattete Küche, der Grill, die Sauna, die super Schaukel auf dem Hügel - und natürlich für alle PianistInnen der Flügel, der auch hohen Ansprüchen mehr als gerecht wird. Es hätte nicht besser sein können!

Hochzeit auf dem Lande
Im Juni haben wir unser Hochzeitsfest in Groß Fredenwalde gefeiert, es war für uns und unsere Gäste ein unvergesslich schöner Tag. Das Haus, der Garten und die umliegende Landschaft bilden zusammen einen ganz besonderen Ort und einen wunderschönen Rahmen für diesen besonderen Anlass. Das Haus bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten für ca. 12 Personen, insgesamt waren zur Feier 30 Gäste anwesend. Die Küche ist mit allen Haushaltsutensilien bestens ausgestattet. Der weitläufige Garten bietet mit Kirschbäumen, Himbeersträuchern und großer Schaukel Kindern Gelegenheit, die Natur zur Erleben und zu spielen. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderbares Ferienhaus am Ortsrand
Das große Haus liegt ruhig am Ortsrand von Groß Fredenwalde. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man blickt über die Felder oder in den schönen Garten. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche hat man viel Platz um Kochen.
