The entire property covers 750m² with approx. 50m² of living space.
Under old trees, you can relax, dream, or simply look at the water and watch the ships go by.
At the end of the property, you reach the water directly via a staircase, where bathing spots invite you to swim and linger.
The holiday house is a NurDachHaus: the open living-dining area with outdoor terrace offers a fantastic, unobstructed panoramic view of the Peenestrom. Via an attic staircase, you reach 2 sleeping chambers, each with 2 beds, one of which offers a view of the Peenestrom.
A nearly new kitchen and a new shower bath with underfloor heating are located on the ground floor.
For colder days, there is a cozy tiled stove which provides the house with warmth; there is sufficient seasoned wood available for the stove.
In the garden, 2 teak loungers with cushions are available. Our holiday home is located on the outskirts of Quilitz in the Lieper Winkel, known as the quietest peninsula.

The town of Usedom with doctors, a pharmacy, and shopping facilities is 12 km away.
Restaurants and cafes are in the immediate vicinity.
The Rankwitz harbor is 4 km away, offering boat moorings, as well as the well-known fish smokehouse and a well-stocked farm shop.
Hiking and cycling trails start right outside the front door.
The well-known seaside resorts with Baltic Sea beaches are about 20 km away.

A small dream house
We spent a week in December in this beautiful holiday home in Quilitz. It feels like a vacation with friends, only that they are not at home, or rather, you don't even know them. The cozy furnishings, books, maps, games, and the trust that the hosts place in their guests—all of this makes you feel right at home. And when the tiled stove is heated, there is nothing more beautiful than sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee and enjoying the view while the fire crackles. In winter, however, one should be prepared to come into a cold house that needs to be warmed up first. Wood is sufficiently available for that. The first night was quite cool, but since we were "forewarned," we had enough hot water bottles with us. The hosts also had a heating blanket on offer in case the hot water bottles were not enough.
In the morning, you can see the dawn on the left side of the horizon and in the evening, the sunset directly opposite. At night, you can admire the starry sky from the bed and hardly get any sleep because you don't want to close your eyes. A shooting star might still fall.
The area around Quilitz is very quiet and great for smaller and larger hiking tours. We will definitely come back to explore the surrounding area as well.

Fantastic 4 weeks in Quilitz on the Peene River
The house is located directly on the Peene River with a fantastic view of the river
The contact with the landlady and also on site with the manager was friendly and reliable
I felt very comfortable in the house. Everything necessary was sufficiently available. The tiled stove with enough firewood was also nice. I did not use it because of the temperatures. The house is lovingly furnished and decorated. As a bookworm, we also liked the many books
I would like to highlight the view of the Peene River from the bed. It was fantastic to fall asleep and wake up with a view of it
I would rent the house again at any time and with pleasure
