Description
The small mountain village Stablo, consists of 2 original newly built farmhouses Sghirlat and Ghimpel and a newly renovated small hut Cedrone. The "Masi" *, built with a lot of natural wood, are located in the middle of the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Ortler Cevedale mountain massif.
Here the guest finally finds the time to relax and enjoy. From early in the morning until late in the evening you can enjoy the wonderful view of the breathtaking mountain massif of the Ortler Cevedale group. The panorama cinema starts here already in the early morning. At sunrise the peaks are bathed in a delicate pink and in the evening you can enjoy the setting of the sun in front of the mountain hut with a glass of Teroldego. A fascinating starry sky gives a hint of an undisturbed night's rest.
The only sounds you hear are the singing of the birds, the rustling of the trees and the babbling of the spring.
The two-storey Masi Ghimpel and Sghirlat offer plenty of space for couples and families. They have been very tastefully decorated, wooden furnishings were not spared here. On the first floor there is a modern kitchen, a cosy living room with tiled stove and a large bathroom plus storage room. On the second floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms with beautiful views of the surrounding nature, a balcony and another bathroom. Maso Cedrone is small but very fine and actually the most original in style, reflecting the typical character of times gone by. Ideal for 2 people. The Masi are well equipped for self-catering with flat screen TV, crockery, bed linen, bath towels, hairdryer, parking, Beautiful panoramic garden and barbecue areas with comfortable wooden benches are located around the houses,then comes the beautiful larch and spruce forest wood and colorful flower meadows.
For a dinner outside the house you can benefit from a special arrangement with the restaurant Sissi Stube c/o Hotel Chalet Alpenrose in Cogolo, which we offer you once a week for free.
The menu of the restaurant offers typical Trentino specialities. The chef Tiziano, also the landlord of the Masi takes care of your physical well-being on this special evening and Martina, his wife and hotel manager collects the best herbs and vegetables such as alpine goose thistle, wild asparagus and spinach, mushrooms and berries to guarantee a special menu.

The Sghirlat farmhouse is located at 1600 m above sea level in the middle of the Stelvio National Park. It overlooks the small Pejo valley with its cute mountain villages of Pejo and Cogolo.
Surrounded by the mountain massif of the Ortles-Cevedale group, it offers, besides a splendid view, many possibilities to be active also in sports. In summer you can explore very well described hiking trails to the many mountain lakes, alpine pastures and huts, in winter, in addition to alpine skiing also snowshoeing and ski touring is offered.

You can reach us by train with the Dolomiti Express to 10km from the accommodation, from where you will be picked up by the landlord free of charge.

Arrival:
The mountain village of Stablò can be reached in 1 hour from the Brennero motorway, Michele exit, or via the Mendola Pass from Bolzano or the Gampen Pass from the Reschen Pass.

Dreamlike mountain holiday!!!
The farmhouse has been furnished in a very rustic way and thus enabled us to have a totally relaxed holiday. The surroundings make every hiker's heart beat faster, and the friendly landlord delighted us with heartfelt stories about his homeland. It's worth spending a holiday here for the beautiful location alone.

Als Vorsitzender und Gründer des Bauernhausverbandes Masi Sparsi im Val di Sole,geht Tiziano mit diesem Thema einer seiner vielen Leidenschaften nach. Tiefe Verbundenheit zum Tirol, ein Anhänger von Andreas Hofer und Antiquitätensammler schon von jungen Alter an, bringt er dies auch in seine von ihm teilweise selbst miterbauten Bauernhäuser ein. Sein Ziel ist es, dem Gast seine geliebte Heimat ,das Brauchtum und die verborgenen Schönheiten dieses Pejo Tal näher zu bringen. Am gemütlichsten wird’s wenn er zu einem guten Grappa einlädt und dabei von spannenden heimischen Anekdoten berichtet. Als Küchenchef sorgt er auch gerne für kleine kulinarische Highlights in seinem Hotel Chalet Alpenrose/Bionatur, das er zusammen mit seiner Frau Martina und seiner Tochter Stefanie seit 21 Jahren führt.
