At Le Domaine de Fontenelles you get a choice of comfortable, terraced houses, villas and apartments. The houses have a terrace with garden furniture and views of countryside or the golf course. The villas have a spacious private garden with private pool. Most can be heated for an additional fee. The apartments have either a terrace or a balcony. The interior of all types of homes can vary slightly.
Semi-detached cottage for 4 to 6 people (FR-85220-15), for 5 persons (FR-85220-21) or 6 persons (FR-85220-16, sometimes with a balcony on the 1st floor). All have a luxurious living room with French patio doors to the terrace and/or garden and a complete open kitchen. Apartment FR-85220-15 has two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed or two single beds. Accommodation upstairs is on a mezzanine with a double sofa bed. There is a bathroom with bath or shower and there is a separate toilet. Apartment FR-85220-21 has two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed or two single beds. Accommodation upstairs is on a mezzanine with a single bed. There is a bathroom with a bath or shower and there is a toilet (usually separate). Apartment FR-85220-16 has 3 bedrooms. All are equipped with a double bed or two single beds. There is a bathroom with a bath or a shower and there is a separate toilet. Upstairs is a 2nd bathroom with shower and a 2nd separate toilet.
Detached villa for 6 persons with an area of approx. 86m2 (FR-85220-17), for 6 people with an area of approx. 100m2 (FR-85220-18, ground floor) or for eight people (FR-85220-19). In the fenced garden, you have use of the terrace with private pool. Villa FR-85220-17 and FR-85220-18 both have three bedrooms. All are equipped with a double bed or two single beds. Bedroom one has French patio doors which open to the garden. There is a bathroom with bath or shower and there is a separate toilet. At Villa FR-85220-17, bedrooms 2 and 3 are situated on the 1st floor. Villa FR-85220-18 is on one level. There is a 2nd bathroom with shower and a 2nd toilet.
The villas of type FR-85220-17 have a balcony on the first floor. Villa FR-85220-19 has 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has French patio doors. All bedrooms feature a double bed or two single beds. There is a bathroom with a bath or a shower and a separate toilet. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are upstairs. There's a second bathroom with a shower and second toilet.
Apartment for 2 to 4 people (FR-85220-20). The living room has been furnished with a double sofa bed and French patio doors which open to the terrace or the balcony. There is a complete open kitchen. There is a bedroom with a double bed. There is a bathroom with a bath or a shower and there is a toilet (usually separate).

Location and surroundings of object
On the French Light Coast, La Côte de Lumière, there are wonderful golden beaches stretching for kilometres, endless dunes, deep forests of oaks and pines, and: Le Domaine de Fontenelles villa park. A delightful holiday destination! Le Domaine de Fonteneless is situated in a wooded area at 8 km from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and 12 km from the beach.
The wonderful domain, built in 2006, consists of apartments, terraced holiday homes and detached villas with a private pool. You can rent a bike in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie to explore the surroundings. You can of course, go exploring on horseback, which is delightful through the woods. The golf course, Des Fontenelles, is right next to the park. Or you could choose one of the four other 18-hole courses in the vicinity.
You'll find three tennis courts (for a fee) on Le Domaine de Fontenelles. It's wonderful to relax on a lounger by the communal swimming pool with paddling pool. Get tips for the area at the reception. It has Wi-Fi and in July and August, you can order fresh baguettes and croissants. Next to the reception there is a restaurant. You can make use of washing machine and dryer. There is a central parking space. The baker, supermarket and bank are located in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (8 km).
The pleasant beach resort of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is situated between the well-known towns of Les Sables-d'Olonne (27 km) and Saint-Jean-de-Monts (29 km). The picturesque center is known for its labyrinth of narrow streets with white fishermen's houses. There is a pleasant shopping street and a weekly market. In the scenic harbor, you can enjoy a 'plateau fruits de mer' in the lovely seafood restaurants. Or you can sit on a terrace there. The Saint Gilles church is worth a visit as well.
On the beaches of La Garenne or Jaunay there are numerous possibilities for water sports. From the harbor, you can take a boat to the island of Ile d'Yeu. The good cycle paths take you through the landscape and past a castle and a museum. But you could also relax on one of the great sandy beaches that the island boasts of! What should really be on your to-do list as well is Ile de Noirmoutier (53 km). There you can take a delightful tour by covered wagon with your family and you could visit the sea aquarium and the castle. You'll make your children happy with a day at the water park in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (14 km).

Accommodation fine and clean. Park nothing to do and in some places in need of renovation. Quarter of a lovely beach. They were renovating the pool of the park all summer. This has not been communicated to us in advance! That was quite disappointing. Swimming pool was even depicted on the reservation form!

The apartment was fine, little old furniture and the garden furniture was rickety and not comfortable. A plastic lounger without a cushion. The environment was good, nice and quiet and spacious.

When we got to the park, we were expecting the worst. The reception building and the apartments around it are dated and dirty / poorly maintained. The reception was chaotic and clumsy. Staff spoke poor English, we poor French that it is not made any easier. Resulting in a long line of tourists who wanted to check. Also, not all houses in order ... Fortunately those of us though. The house was neat, clean, big enough for 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen fully anticipated. But here again outdated and some things need replacing. The couch in the living room was poor, the dishwasher did not work, refrigerator door closed very hard and we had almost no water pressure. If someone was in the shower and the toilet was flushed, the water pressure was completely gone. Also, it is a bit strange that you fill with a list of the complete inventory should continue making the things that are present in the house. After reporting is the handyman, who was extremely friendly and helpful, dishwasher, refrigerator and will restore water pressure. After the repairs we start enjoying our holiday. The house that we got into this holiday was not in orders in the field of furniture, not enough deck chairs, loungers no outside, no umbrella, broken chair inside, worn sofa. .. For € 1,000 per week you all way beyond expected better furniture!

The house was disappointing in several respects. It was not clean, very dark, very basically furnished, kitchen utensils were missing, broken or very dated. About the cleaning and things that were broken, we have the following which were given feedback at the reception. The answer was thank you for the feedback, we do nothing. The terrace of the house was small, directly adjacent to a high row of trees and the central parking lot. There was basically no sunlight on the terrace. There are definitely nicer houses situated on the park. And perhaps better equipped. The houses are privately owned, the park is managed by madam vacances. There is WIFI at the reception, but it works very poorly. From the pool and the restaurant we were definitely pleased. The restaurant has good food and quality / price ratio is good. What stood out there are many families with young children at the park, but this are hardly any facilities.

Wonderful holiday had with nice weather and pool, tennis court around the corner. The guys were nice football at our cottage. Delicious went to the beach and swam in the amazing waves! Nice to walk and eat in the villages along the coast.

A delicious catered holiday! Our cottage was equipped; well equipped kitchen, great patio furniture, good beds and lots of privacy. The children had plenty of space to play football, alongside much fun in the pool. Trips to the beach and nice restaurants within a fifteen minute drive, made the holiday complete. Wifi is only available near the reception. Service and friendliness spot was good! Worth repeating.

It is a beautiful park and terraced villa is nicely furnished, reasonably clean and the wifi in the reception works. There is a bread service at reception which works well but there are bakeries and grocery 3km in Coex. In addition, 9 km (n st. Gilles Croix) MacDonald, and 4 large supermarkets (Lecler, Liddle, Aldi and U-Marche). The people of recepotie were friendly and spoke good engels.Al in all highly recommended.

We had a nice house with a cozy decor. This differed greatly from home like the layout. Nice spacious homes. The reception is helpful and speak English well. Nice park, not too big. Prima house was clean, overlooking the golf course. Enough space, good beds, 2 baths, kitchen small but with all the necessary equipment. Super time here. Too much to do in the area and definitely worth repeating!

If lastminute worth. 2 separate bathrooms and toilets "s always fine. The reception area is small and helps slow but decent. Too bad it's so far from the" civilized world "is off. For a wonderful holiday by the sea, Saint Gilles Croix de Vie recommended. A nice village, beautiful beaches and a fantastic ocean. The last minute booking through Octopus Travel has been excellent through the good organization of the whole.

Nice and spacious house pretty clean and well maintained .Strand is easily accessible at about 13 minutes rijdenOok good I think if you can not inchekken just before the appointed time to call reception you some later, and she put the key ready for you and whatever the non French-speaking people is good they talk engels.Verder there is only one restaurant on the premises and no supermarket that I found it jammer.Wel had a quiet sunny holiday.

From this peaceful spot with beautiful bungalows and villas "to make s fun trips. St Gilles at 10 min, Puy du Fou park with grand knight / Romans / animal shows in just over an hour, La Rochelle, a beautiful harbor city in the famous Il Re 2hrs and oyster beds and bathing park at La NOIRMOUTIER an hour's drive. The park delicious lunch at the golf restaurant, and for the evening a fine another next to it. Friendly staff that quickly solves problems.

House neat, nice vakantie.Alleen there are some untruths in the beschrijving.1 there is no internet in the bungalow, only at the receptie.2 The TV that you can rent for 35 euros p / w send only french channels banknotes.3 The route is very unclear, 45 minutes searching geweest.Na report these complaints to top travel, never got a response.

Spacious bedrooms, no comforters but blankets and sheets. Neat and clean bathrooms and toilets. Kitchen with lots of cutlery, kitchen utensils, etc., but a small counter top. Living room is not very large, in a 6-person house we were not very spacious with 5 people. Great terrace with some privacy, although there is a path behind all the houses. Reception does not speak German and very poor English, but very helpful and friendly. You have to pay for everything, also for the TV, Wifi is only available in the main building, it works very slowly. Furthermore, a well maintained park.
