Domaine de Vertmarines Villa Park is in the wooded area of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Le Domaine de Vertmarines stands for luxury, detached villas and private swimming pools. You will also find plenty of amenities at Domaine de Vertmarines. WiFi is available at reception. In July and August you can fetch your fresh croissants and baguettes from there. Better still, let yourself be pampered by the breakfast service. Both centre and beach are about 3,5 km away.
Saint-Jean-de-Monts is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Vendée. There is the beautiful, long, sandy beach and the charming boulevard with its casino, cafes, restaurants and shops. You can also hire a boat, catamaran, kayak and surfboard. In the harbour, you can take the ferry for a crossing to Ile d'Yeu. You can visit the castle and the museum on the island. Or you can sit yourself on one of the many secluded beaches.
Ile de Noirmoutiers (30km) can be easily reached by car over a long bridge. With its 12th century castle, amusement park and aquarium with seals, this peninsula is a must! You can also go on a ride in a covered wagon. Back on the mainland, the woods of Saint-Jean-de-Monts await you. Hiking is wonderful in the shade of the tall pine trees.
Many cycle paths in the Vendée run alongside wide beaches, deep forests and marshland. A voyage of discovery awaits you! There is often salt extracted in this region. Here and there piles of it are drying in the sun; enough for a countless number of eggs! There is a water theme park with giant slides at Merlin Plage in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (15km). Other famous resorts are Saint-Gilles Croix-de-Vie (18km) and Les Sables d'Olonne (47km).
Are you a golf fan? The first 18-hole golf course is in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. There are four other courses nearby. Need a moment to relax? Then thalassotherapy might be something for you! A bakery, bike hire, supermarket, weekly market, bank, post office and disco are all to be found in Saint-Jean-de-Monts.

The swimming pool is availbale from May until October, depending on the weather conditions.
Every private swimming pool can be heated on request. The costs are based on usage according to the meter reading, this is an amount of approximately 150 per week.
The costs for electra and electricity for the villa's, and private swimming pool will be stated by meter reading on arrival and departure. Therefore the costs could be higher than mentioned in the extra costs.
If you choose to do your own final cleaning, at the end of your stay you will be refunded part of the deposit to the value of the final cleaning.

The house is spacious and everything is there. The pool is great. We all enjoy it.

The area is quite touristy and there is not much to do in terms of culture outside attractions. There is no beach bar on the beach and the village is a bit boring.

Nice house, nice swimming pool in a nice area. Bread stick you can order at the reception for the next dag.Leuke tourist villages fairly close. The road that comes free with ebb lie to the island Nourmoitier's fun to do right after the reclamation. You drive between the jellyfish through! The times are set in various folders.Feeling the forest is also a fun outing with the kids.

The house is nice and spacious and the pool is very nice. The interior of the house was good in terms of kitchen appliances and washing machine. For a house that can be rented for 8 people, the furniture is inadequate: the sofa accommodated 3 people and there was also 1 armchair. The kitchen chairs are hard wooden chairs and therefore not suitable to sit on for an evening. Unfortunately no wifi and the paid TV channels were not always easy to receive.
The worst part, however, was that the first 2 days (Saturday evening to Monday evening) we had to contend with clogged drains, which meant that the shower/bath and toilets were not properly usable. Manager is very attentive and with his help a company came and everything was fixed on Monday evening.
