Domaine de Vertmarines Villa Park is in the wooded area of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Le Domaine de Vertmarines stands for luxury, detached villas and private swimming pools. You will also find plenty of amenities at Domaine de Vertmarines. WiFi is available at reception. In July and August you can fetch your fresh croissants and baguettes from there. Better still, let yourself be pampered by the breakfast service. Both centre and beach are about 3,5 km away.
Saint-Jean-de-Monts is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Vendée. There is the beautiful, long, sandy beach and the charming boulevard with its casino, cafes, restaurants and shops. You can also hire a boat, catamaran, kayak and surfboard. In the harbour, you can take the ferry for a crossing to Ile d'Yeu. You can visit the castle and the museum on the island. Or you can sit yourself on one of the many secluded beaches.
Ile de Noirmoutiers (30km) can be easily reached by car over a long bridge. With its 12th century castle, amusement park and aquarium with seals, this peninsula is a must! You can also go on a ride in a covered wagon. Back on the mainland, the woods of Saint-Jean-de-Monts await you. Hiking is wonderful in the shade of the tall pine trees.
Many cycle paths in the Vendée run alongside wide beaches, deep forests and marshland. A voyage of discovery awaits you! There is often salt extracted in this region. Here and there piles of it are drying in the sun; enough for a countless number of eggs! There is a water theme park with giant slides at Merlin Plage in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (15km). Other famous resorts are Saint-Gilles Croix-de-Vie (18km) and Les Sables d'Olonne (47km).
Are you a golf fan? The first 18-hole golf course is in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. There are four other courses nearby. Need a moment to relax? Then thalassotherapy might be something for you! A bakery, bike hire, supermarket, weekly market, bank, post office and disco are all to be found in Saint-Jean-de-Monts.

The swimming pool is availbale from May until October, depending on the weather conditions.
Every private swimming pool can be heated on request. The costs are based on usage according to the meter reading, this is an amount of approximately 150 per week.
The costs for electra and electricity for the villa's, and private swimming pool will be stated by meter reading on arrival and departure. Therefore the costs could be higher than mentioned in the extra costs.
If you choose to do your own final cleaning, at the end of your stay you will be refunded part of the deposit to the value of the final cleaning.

Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was very worn out and not as shown in the pictures. Perhaps this is different with other houses - they are privately owned. The cleanliness was actually terrible, especially in the kitchen: dirty and sticky surfaces, moldy dish towels, disgusting cutting boards, and a rusty refrigerator. Unfortunately, Belvilla also only reacted bureaucratically: "we will forward it!"

A perfect retreat! We loved the tranquility of the area, the nearby Forêt Domaniale was beautiful for walks, and the villa itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

This place exceeded our expectations! The kids loved the pool, and we appreciated the barbecue facilities. The nearby restaurants were a nice bonus, especially La Dunette.

We spent a week here and it was fantastic! The heated pool was a lifesaver during the cooler evenings, the villa was spacious with modern amenities, and we felt very much at home.
