We had a very nice vacation in Husum. The accommodation in the water tower was quaint and cozy. Husum and the surrounding area are very worth seeing, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

It is an extraordinary accommodation where we spent 14 days. As expected, one should be "fit," as the stairs to the apartment have many steps. You can go up through the stairwell and from there even see the sea. The tower is located in the park, so there are various ways to get to the city center and the harbor. In the city center and at the harbor, there are many eateries, and directly opposite the accommodation, there is a shopping arcade with a supermarket and bakery. Right next door is a hospital and also the landing site for the rescue helicopter, which of course has occasionally caused noise.

Our vacation in the upper holiday apartment in the Wasserturm Husum was very enjoyable. Without physical impairments, the 37 steps to the apartment are manageable. The location is quiet and central, with a supermarket and bakery directly across the street. With rental bicycles, we explored the surroundings on well-developed bike paths. It was unpleasant that during heavy rain, water entered through the closed windows and specifically left a puddle at the top of the stairs. The lighting should also be checked; some lamps were defective here.
