Perfect penthouse. Everything is there to feel comfortable. Everything important is nearby and within walking distance. The parking situation can be challenging, but we have mastered that as well. Highly recommended for a very good coffee in between or for breakfast - we have often enjoyed that - is the small café "Husumer Kaffekontor".

A tastefully furnished apartment in a prime location, where we felt very comfortable again during our third visit and which is highly recommended all around. The new sofa is a success. However, a critical comment must be made. When booking, as in previous years, a Nespresso machine was listed as inventory. Relying on this, we bought a week's supply from Nespresso before arrival and brought it with us. Unfortunately, the machine had been removed. Fortunately, we were able to buy ground coffee for the first breakfast just before the store closed. Of course, a successful holiday and the quality of a vacation rental do not depend on the presence of a capsule machine. Unnecessary shopping - we don't have such a machine ourselves - and carrying it when arriving by train are annoying, though. This could have been avoided with a note.

An elegantly designed, bright apartment that now has a very cozy new sofa set. Next, the slightly scratched chairs at the dining table should be replaced. Centrally located and quiet. In the functional kitchen, it would be nice to have more small dessert bowls (only 2 available, and the large coffee cups could be replaced.) Overall, a highly recommended apartment.

The information folder should definitely be updated and completed and organized. There are not enough storage options in the bathroom. Actually, a great shower, but half of the bathroom is underwater when the handheld shower is used, as there is no partition. Unfortunately, only two towel holders. In the end, we felt very comfortable and had a very nice week.

The central (but still very quiet) location is perfect, and the key handover was again very uncomplicated.

The Penthouse Horizont is a truly dreamy vacation apartment in a prime location. Unfortunately, this time (repeater) the apartment was not quite as clean as we were used to in the past. But to be honest, that's just nitpicking. There are a few little things in the equipment that could be improved, for example, containers for sliced meat, a measuring cup. Sharper knives and towels that fit the hooks in the bathroom have already been discussed with the landlord. If there are any issues, they are addressed immediately, which deserves a big compliment. It's a bit surprising that there is only one set of towels provided for 14 days, considering the price of the apartment. This should be reconsidered for improvement. The number and height of hooks in the bathroom have been criticized before. In conclusion – We will definitely come back.

There was no instruction manual for operating the infrared sauna. The same applies to the heating and air conditioning system. The fact that only 2 guest towels, 2 regular towels, 2 shower towels, and 2 sauna towels are provided for a 14-day stay for 2 people should be communicated to the vacationers in advance.

It was our first but definitely not our last stay in the Penthouse Horizont. When you enter the apartment, you experience a "wow effect" Outstanding and tastefully furnished apartment, everything you need is available. The highlight is the roof terrace and the sauna. Underground parking space (directly accessible via elevator) very helpful as the apartment is located in close proximity to Husum's inner harbor. (Within walking distance about 2-3 minutes) We felt very comfortable.

Great box spring beds, unfortunately the mattresses were way too hard, we had problems with them. It would have been advantageous to have a user manual for the exterior blinds. The programs (unsorted) of the large flat screen (living area) could certainly be organized better on an A4 sheet, they should be properly sorted in the TV. A holder for shower utensils would be desirable in the shower. Our comments are only intended to be helpful. It is a great vacation apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. You can't feel more comfortable than this.

The apartment fully met our expectations, which were raised by the description and photos. The location close to the harbor and right in the old town is simply great and still very (!) quiet. All shopping facilities and a lot of gastronomy can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Another great thing is the underground parking with elevator access to the apartment and plenty of space for bicycles. Only the box spring beds were a problem for us (too hard), so our sleep was not very restful. If soft toppers were provided, our rating would be 1+.

We will book this accommodation again. The fact that the parking situation is tight is okay. However, the owner of parking space 7 felt compelled to lecture us on how to park, even though we were recommended to park in reverse beforehand. In response to your remark that I parked inconsiderately because my car protruded 10cm beyond the post (which happened daily with the opposite vehicle as well), I immediately adjusted and moved back the 10 cm, even though it was unnecessary. As I said, we were on vacation and relaxed, while the owner of parking space 7 was rather tense. We recommended addressing this issue calmly with the owner during the key handover.
