In Montignac, right in the heart of Périgord Noir, youll find Les Bastides de Lascaux. Montignac town has much to offer. Not only the nearby caves of Lascaux (the most lavishly-painted pre-historic caves), Villars and Cazelle, but also the many characteristic houses, and of course the fortress is typical. As well as very pleasant rambles, you can go canoeing on any of the many nearby rivers, or explore the district on horseback. Swimming is possible at nearby lakes. Culture-vultures will want to visit some of the castles such as Castelnaud, Marzac, Roucaudon, Losse or Fénélon. The little village of Bournat, the gardens of Marqueyssac and the aquarium of Périgord Noir are also well worth a visit. The Résidence is located 2 km from the centre of Montignac, and comprises interconnected holiday homes (country houses). The swimming pool is partly covered and is heated. You can relax and unwind in the sauna and Turkish bath available at the résidence.
Résidence Les Bastides de Lascaux is in Montignac, in the very heart of Périgord Noir, a region with much culture, history, sporting activities and festivals.

It is a pity that the documents stated that you can only check in from 5 pm. It turned out that it can also be between 9 and 12 o'clock. Also annoying that there is someone at the reception only at these times. Now we had to wait a few hours.

Although the house we liked very much, there are a few things that we have missed and which are significant. When the bath is not a hand grip on the wall. This is very onveilig.In a house is supposed to be a pair of scissors. That there was no niet.Op pans lids, it was a pity. We were in the week of the May holidays and there were many children. Nice read out was not there by the loud shouts and screams. We found this very annoying.

Due to its convenient location very good starting point for excursions. Privacy moderately fortified by construction, but quiet inmates (like us) sit outside and eat. Proper information about area with receptionist's. Fortunately we had excellent weather.

Good place as a base to explore the area. The accommodation was good. The park was pretty clean, the swimming pool. The property itself was good. Nice to once again have plenty of pans, cutlery and crockery. The layout of the kitchen was not convenient. As a result, there can be only one person working in the kitchen. Using wifi was very expensive and the quality was not good. The same goes for the TV ontvangst.Maar overall we had a very enjoyable holiday in this small park.

Les Bastides de Lascaux is a great base to visit all the important and interesting places from the prehistoric and enjoy nature and the Vezere. The homes are well insulated and help the blinds to keep the house cool (we have 14 days of sunshine and 32 degrees received gift).

on arrival we are well ontvangen.hadden some things that were not right in the house but they have quickly opgelost.het park looks good and clean uit.onze son loved the pool nearly two totally awesome all think if he was a year older he does get bored because there are next to the pool just a not too large playground is.Maar yourself to just chill for a few weeks, it's all fine and well every morning with the warm bread from the bakery and a nice cup of coffee, I say just do it.
