In Montignac, right in the heart of Périgord Noir, youll find Les Bastides de Lascaux. Montignac town has much to offer. Not only the nearby caves of Lascaux (the most lavishly-painted pre-historic caves), Villars and Cazelle, but also the many characteristic houses, and of course the fortress is typical. As well as very pleasant rambles, you can go canoeing on any of the many nearby rivers, or explore the district on horseback. Swimming is possible at nearby lakes. Culture-vultures will want to visit some of the castles such as Castelnaud, Marzac, Roucaudon, Losse or Fénélon. The little village of Bournat, the gardens of Marqueyssac and the aquarium of Périgord Noir are also well worth a visit. The Résidence is located 2 km from the centre of Montignac, and comprises interconnected holiday homes (country houses). The swimming pool is partly covered and is heated. You can relax and unwind in the sauna and Turkish bath available at the résidence.
Résidence Les Bastides de Lascaux is in Montignac, in the very heart of Périgord Noir, a region with much culture, history, sporting activities and festivals.

Good and friendly received. Helpful staff Accommodation was neat and equipped with everything we needed bathrooms were very small. It would be nice to provide some more cupboards and / or coat hangers, shelves or racks, very beautiful surroundings with many possibilities

We have made in Montignac primarily an educational vacation. the Bastide de Lascaux is ideal for visits to the Grotto, surrounded by nature and on a short walk takes you to the center of the Städchens morning to buy his fresh baguette. The children have benefited from the pool. This is half-covered, for adults there are 2 saunas. For us late arrivals of the keys was easy, we got promised call a code number under the we found a locker with a key. Friendly service

It was a nice holiday but the cottage was small even though we had booked for double oersonen azntal. The general hygiene (eg ventilator toilet, cutlery tray ...) showed that the desired.

The accommodation was spacious and well equipped, comfortable beds and nicely furnished. the kitchen was small but fully equipped with dishwasher and combi oven. There is a bread service at the park, the day before to order and then in the morning between 8.30 and 9.30 to pick up at the reception, no further shop or restaurant or cafe in the park, Monignac is 2 km easily accessible by car or on foot. Pool is not that big and especially in the afternoons than very busy but nice, closes at 19.45 u what we found very early. There is no animation, the youth is playing a little football behind the pool but there is nothing to do for the youth. Nearby beautiful villages such as Sarlat-la-Caneda, Beynac, Domme and Perigueux. We have not been to the caves, we found the entry price too high for what we could see. Wifi can only be paid by credit card or mastercard. Tip if you use the washing machine then make sure you can get it before 8pm because the owners close the door and you can not be with you anymore, the next morning from 8.30 only again ....
