Dear / Sir I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unlisted charges applied to my recent stay at your establishment, from 12-12-25 to 14-12-2025. While the stay itself was adequate, the billing process has left me profoundly disappointed. Upon booking our reservation, we were informed of a total charge of €285, which was duly paid. However, we were unexpectedly presented with an additional charge of €300 for a "cleaning fee" upon checkout. This significant extra cost was never clearly mentioned or disclosed upfront during the reservation process, either on your website or in any communication we received. It is standard practice in the hospitality industry for all mandatory fees to be included in the initial quoted price or clearly itemized as compulsory additional costs at the time of booking. Furthermore, we took great care to leave the entire space neat, tidy, and clean, which makes the magnitude of this surprise fee even more difficult to accept. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and has resulted in an unexpected financial burden. I kindly request a full refund of the €300 cleaning fee. I have attached a copy of my final invoice for your reference. I expect a formal response acknowledging my complaint and outlining the steps you will take to rectify this situation within 14 business days. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will consider escalating my complaint with the relevant consumer protection agencies or booking platform (e.g., (Belvilla). Our stay at Comfy Villa was truly lovely! The spacious layout was perfect for our family of six, and we loved the cozy living room where we gathered after days of exploring the beautiful Eifel National Park nearby. The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation easy, and we especially enjoyed evenings on the furnished terrace, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend checking out Casa Ruscello, just a short walk away, for delicious local food!

We were now in September in Heimbach, Resort Eifeler Tor with 7 people in the Belvilla. The houses and the complex are very beautiful. The surroundings are fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathrooms, however (for 7 people and 4 days, one roll of toilet paper / bathroom is not enough). What we didn't like at all was the cleanliness. The houses are very neglected and not really cleaned. Everywhere cobwebs and "dead animals" in the corners :-( If the guests pay 160 € for a final cleaning, then you can expect to come to a clean and well-kept house. As far as the gastronomy in the complex is concerned Here, too, there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially the service. We have now booked Belvilla on Lake Garda again in October and hope that it will be better here.

The manager of Dormio resort eifeler tor Mr. Johan van Dam is a bad host. He does not listen to his customers and is very customer-unfriendly. Beware do not book here because if Mr. van Dam on the spot thinks that you do not belong at "his" park, he will send you home without refund.
