This holiday home is located in a prime lakeside location on a spacious plot of land and offers a high level of living comfort. The unobstructed view of the lake from the property lets you immediately forget about everyday life. Up to 5 people and a small child have enough space on 115 m². With great attention to detail, all rooms offer a very special charm. The house is at ground level and barrier-free.

You can expect a modern and stylishly furnished house with a large eat-in kitchen (with sofa bed for 5th person 1.40 x 2.00m), two bedrooms with double bed, a bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom, utility room and hallway. Entertainment is provided by a large satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

From the living area you can access the large terrace. With a fantastic view towards nature and the lake, you can relax wonderfully, sunbathe, enjoy your meal or just enjoy being together. The large plot invites you to play and offers plenty of private space. Directly adjacent to the property is access to the house's own jetty. This is only used by you and the neighbouring holiday home. Jump directly into the lake from here, cast your fishing line, enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine or simply read a book. In this unique place, you will find your very own holiday feeling. A free rowing boat (shared with the neighbouring house) is at your disposal for discovery tours at the jetty. 2 parking spaces directly in front of the house and the fully fenced plot offer additional comfort and security.

Location and surroundings of object

The place
Göhren-Settin is a small, tranquil village directly on Lake Settin. The village is located in the beautiful forest and meadow area of the Lewitz and offers nature lovers the best conditions for cycling, hiking, jogging and boating. Nature seems almost limitless here and animals such as eagles, beavers and cranes are often encountered. The village also offers you a public bathing area with a sunbathing lawn, a bus stop and a playground. The absolutely quiet location offers you a high recreational value. Nevertheless, you don't have to do without anything because of the proximity to numerous towns and villages.

Leisure and excursions
You can reach the state capital Schwerin in about 15 minutes by car. The city offers a wide range of leisure activities. These include all the museums, zoo, climbing forest, TV tower, cinema, shopping centres, indoor playground, trampoline hall, indoor swimming pool and more. We can highly recommend a visit to Schwerin Castle, which is one of the most beautiful in Germany, and a boat trip with the White Fleet across the Schwerin Lakes. The beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea and the island of Poel can be reached in about 1 hour by car.

Further to recommend

For those who appreciate peace and nature (fishing/hiking) and also culture (for example, Schwerin), this very beautiful holiday home should not be missed. The price/performance ratio is right.

Wonderful house. Huge, fenced property. The path to the private dock is short. And absolute peace, wonderful!! The only (teeny) tiny problem is the very limited gastronomy nearby. But otherwise top!

We spent a very, very nice vacation. The house with the large property is perfectly equipped in every way. The location directly on the lake with its own jetty is excellent. Relaxing in the midst of this nature, whether on land or on the water with the boat... dreamlike. Here you can find time for peace and relaxation. Walking, cycling, fishing...
The service team is very nice, friendly, and always available for contact. Many thanks for everything.

We will be very happy to come back!

The house is super equipped. We immediately felt at home. The property is well maintained.
We could well imagine a fireplace for cosy get-togethers on this large property

Last year we were already in the area around Schwerin. Because we liked it so much and the cycle paths are very well developed, we decided to take our bikes with us again. We recommend that the landlord put out some maps and information about nice cycling routes in the accommodation.

A house to feel good in

The house is exceptionally tastefully furnished and very spacious. The property is fenced and secured, even towards the boat dock.
Unfortunately, there were many spiders and cobwebs in the house.
The rowing boat also needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
Otherwise, everything is great.
We are not aware of any bike paths nearby, but if you use the side streets, you won't encounter too much car traffic. The bottom of the lake at the dock is very marshy; however, during our stay, there was at least a 40 cm water level shortage due to the ongoing drought.
One can observe rare waterfowl and, with luck, even beavers in the lake.

excellent equipment

The holiday home is equipped with everything one needs to live: there was even a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer, knives were sharp, and the frying pan was not scratched, as is sometimes the case in holiday accommodations. Here we found everything we needed and more. We swam in the lake every day; the water was a bit murky, but according to the health department, it had a three-star bathing quality. Surrounding us was peace and pure nature, and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.

Dreamlike relaxation, far away from stress and hustle.

We were there during the off-season, it was wonderfully quiet. The property is spacious and the house is cozy and well-furnished. We lacked nothing. One day, there was no hot water coming from the shower; it was immediately taken care of, we were well-informed about every step by phone, and everything was back to normal within 24 hours. We were on the lake daily with the SUP; it's not suitable for tours, but it's great for practicing for beginners and returners. One could also just drift wonderfully and follow the sounds and sights of nature.

Short vacation

The description stated, "bathroom with underfloor heating," but there was only a towel dryer available. To ventilate the bathroom, the doors to the bedroom had to be opened. Hot water in the kitchen, as well as in the bathroom, was available only after letting the faucet run for a long time. Unfortunately, the storage option for bicycles and fishing gear was already blocked with other items. But it is still a very nice accommodation, especially since one could use the boat.

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Eine Fußbodenerwärmung ist vorhanden. Diese muss, wie üblich, über das vorhandene Ventil/Thermostat angestellt werden. Sie hätten uns jederzeit anrufen könne, wir hätten es Ihnen erklärt. Im Bad gibt es ein kleines Fenster, welches aber zum Lüften ausreicht. Die Zirkulationsleitung vom Warmwasserspeicher im HWR bis zum Badezimmer beträgt ca. 10 m. Daher dauert es etwas, bis das warme Wasser ankommt. Im Fahrradschuppen stehen in der Tat noch Regale und Werkzeug. Für 2 Fahrräder ist jedoch ausreichend Platz. Wir hoffen, dass Sie eine schöne Zeit hatten und sich gut erholen konnten.

Very good, stylish

A holiday residence with excellent furnishings and amenities. Peace and relaxation are on the agenda. Swimming before or after breakfast. Breakfast in the fresh air with the chirping of the birds. If anyone is missing anything, the caretaker is there to help competently and supportively. Fishing from the dock or boat with success. DO NOT recommend to anyone else, or else the demand will be too high next year.

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Das Haus ist seit Juni 2021 neu in der Vermietung und wurde komplett renoviert. Die Insektenschutzgitter wurden bestellt, konnten aber leider, aufgrund von Lieferschwierigkeiten, noch nicht geliefert werden. Die Reinigungsfirma haben wir informiert.
