Living room with (sofa) bed and comfortable reading/lounge chair and reading lamp – TV with several German channels. Since 2026 there is a new and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, etc., as well as a pretty dining nook. Sunny balcony (south) with comfortable, adjustable garden chairs and sun umbrella. Spacious bathroom with bathtub/shower and toilet.
1 bedroom with comfortable box spring beds and ample closet space. The beds are made upon arrival.

Location and surroundings of object

Callantsoog is a former fishing village and is one of the few seaside resorts in the province of North Holland that is located directly by the sea. The village centre exudes atmosphere with its shops, restaurants and cafes with 'sociable' terraces. The dune belt in the centre is narrow and you can be on the beach in no time. The beach stretches for kilometres in both directions. At the end of Callantsoog, the beautiful Zijpen polder landscape begins, with typical North Holland farms, windmills and the most beautiful fishing spots. © B-Homewithus

Possibilities: Swimming, fishing, horse riding, tennis, squash, cycling and hiking. In the immediate vicinity of the village a large part of the dunes belongs to the nature reserve "Zwanenwater". This nature reserve, consisting of dunes, marshes, lakes and forest, covers an area of approx. 550 hectares and is home to the largest seagull colony in Europe, with herons, silver and storm seagulls.

Beautiful accommodation

Well located, beautiful apartment, great for cycling.
When "normal tenants move into the neighboring apartments, everything is fine, but if louder tenants move in, it does disturb, because then it gets loud. Two young Dutch men luckily only moved in next to me on the second to last day, not only smoking hashish on the balcony but also being very loud all night until 5:00 in the morning.
Until then, it was nice and quiet.

Wonderful short vacation

We spent beautiful days by the sea in Callantsoog. The sunny apartment is nicely furnished and very well maintained. We would love to come back.
