Overall, a very beautiful house, but somewhat neglected in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Furthermore, the coffee machine was defective (after we complained several times, we received a "loan machine"). There were three umbrella stands available but no umbrella, and upon inquiry, we were assured that an umbrella had been ordered and should arrive in the next few days, which, however, did not happen (we privately bought an umbrella). We were told that all purchases had to be discussed with the owner. I really hope that the next house guests had better luck.

The house was okay in terms of space. Furthermore, it was in need of some renovation. Door handles that fell off, a dangerous socket above. This had already been reported by a guest, but apparently nothing was done about it. The bathrooms also need modernization. Outside, one of us fell because there was a hole in the pavement. We heard continuously barking and whining dogs, especially at night. The cutlery was dirty and the sofas were shabby. The swimming water was not good; we had brought our own test strips. Excessive chlorine level and far too low pH level. Reported immediately, also to the maintenance staff of the pool. Belvilla did not take this up and we were supposed to be called back. This did not happen. Reported several times. Upon returning home, reported again and now they say we are too late in reporting! Very poor service. Swimming in this bad water poses serious health problems! Above, one of the air conditioners also didn't work, and the outdoor unit makes a terrible noise, making it impossible to sleep. For us, no more Belvilla.

RUN AWAY!!! Very bad experience! If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so without hesitation! From our arrival for 15 days, we noticed that the villa was in a deplorable state, namely: cleanliness to be reviewed, we had to buy cleaning products to clean everything. No vacuum cleaner available during our stay. It would have been appreciated to be able to vacuum the countless dust bunnies, especially under the beds. The dishwasher in a state of rust, therefore forced to do the dishes daily. Clothes drying rack provided, similarly completely rusted in several places. The air conditioners were totally clogged with dust. We had to clean the filters in order to be able to operate them without the risk of allergies, and even then it was borderline. Barbecue, I don't have the words to describe the state of grime and rust on the grills! Humidity problems in the bathrooms. Regarding the laundry room where the washing machine is located, there is a constant smell of rotten eggs in the room. Moreover, the washing machine is in a state of filth... We lost an entire afternoon at the pool due to the presence of gardeners who came without notifying us to trim the hedges and weeds. This is unacceptable!!! These tasks should be done before the arrival of vacationers! The stoves were in a terrible state of wear! The pool net was unusable as it had holes everywhere. We contacted the manager the day after our arrival (Sunday), and she replied that it was in no way an emergency. We received a new net 2 days later. And to top it all off… on the evening of our arrival, we noticed an invasion of cockroaches, and not the small ones!! We immediately contacted the villa manager with videos to support our claim. The latter informs us via WhatsApp that she is already aware and of course did not bother to warn us before our arrival, nor Belvilla during our booking! Furthermore, the manager, not feeling very concerned about the situation, left us a simple spray the next day. Then nothing for the rest of the stay, claiming that it is not the owner of the villa. We immediately alerted the rental agency Belvilla with an urgent complaint by email and through the Belvilla platform requesting to change villas. They did not bother to respond to us, nor contact us directly upon receiving our email, leaving us in this urgent situation! We were forced to regularly purchase spray products against cockroaches in an attempt to limit the damage. This incurred costs that should not be our responsibility! In these circumstances, it is unacceptable to charge a rental of €3600!! After several emails sent, the last one mentioning a procedure against them, Belvilla had a company intervene for the cockroaches, and this, 3 days before our departure. Knowing that they were informed of the urgency as soon as we arrived. We do not recommend this rental at all; on the contrary, flee if you see the ad for this rental!

The house was very attractive and well equipped. There was nothing missing, especially in the kitchen.
There could be a few more warm blankets. When we arrived it was very cold and I had to figure out how to heat the house. After a phone call to the property management, it worked. We found the small car repair shop opposite annoying. A phone was constantly ringing or people were having loud discussions, not to mention the noise of the workshop. I don't want to lie by the pool here in the summer with this background noise. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the stay.

We had a lovely time during our stay at this property. Ms. Duarte was really helpful before and during our stay, giving us all the necessary information. The villa is located in a quiet street, a 5-minute drive from Carvoiero main street. Access was easy and we started enjoying the house right away. It is really clean and comfortable, pool and garden are great, rooms are spacious. We really hope we can come back.

the rating cannot be good after the following events.
1. We did not see the supervisor in the 3 weeks, neither at the beginning nor because of
complaints and also not at the end.
2. The reaction to complaints was abysmal. Either it doesn't matter, you have to ask first
or there was almost nothing. The emails can be made available to you.
3. The following complaints were simply dismissed:
- bathroom door on the ground floor broken
- toilet paper holder in the same bathroom broken
- towel holder also broken
- electrical socket in a bedroom on the upper floor broken (dangerous)
- 2 rolls missing from the bottom basket of the dishwasher
- the worst thing was the broken parasol which the supervisor said would work.
But after I sent pictures she wanted to get a new one. That was it.
Nothing happened.
There are emails for the above descriptions and also photos of the complaints.
These can be made available to you.

How is it possible that such a so-called caretaker is responsible for such a house?
For 3700 euros I expect a decent house and a competent caretaker.
I will also share my negative experiences.

Very nice villa, clean, with all the facilities. Quite calm place, except a lot of dog barking in the neighborhood, especially that of the neighbor opposite who cries a lot during the night to the point of waking us up. Despite the sun which is not present, it is a very pleasant house. to live.

We had a lovely time during our stay at this property. Ms. Duarte was really helpful before and during our stay, giving us all the necessary information. The villa is located in a quiet street, a 5-minute drive from Carvoiero main street. Access was easy and we started enjoying the house right away. It is really clean and comfortable, pool and garden are great, rooms are spacious. We really hope we can come back.
