This farmhouse is a gem! The air conditioning kept us cool on hot days, and the proximity to Montemor-o-Novo made it easy to explore local restaurants. The high chair and crib made traveling with our toddler a breeze.

Booked at short notice, our choice was an absolute "golden find." Far away from the usual tourist hustle and bustle, we arrived at a place that was infinitely beautiful, quiet, dreamy, and yet very lively. In our small, typically Portuguese furnished apartment with a huge private terrace, we had a place of absolute tranquility. The entire estate is nestled between hills, covered with ancient cork oaks, where cattle and sheep with their lambs graze scattered. A magical garden - like a lush green oasis in the midst of the landscape dried out by the summer heat - provided fresh vegetables every day for both big and small hunger, - the blooming flower beds, palm trees, oleanders, and fig trees, along with the wisteria hedge, scattered throughout the vast property, were a delight. A private reservoir and a large, extremely well-maintained swimming pool also offered refreshment even in the greatest heat. Our hostess always had an open ear for questions, was exceptionally hospitable, and made an effort to make her guests' stay as pleasant as possible. We spent three weeks at the estate, and it was very difficult for us to say goodbye to this enchanted place at the end of our vacation.

After turning to the address, accompanied several kilometers on a dirt road, it was found that a special circumstance was that we were only in large farm, do for us far away from civilization. There is plenty to see and do. Lisbon and Évora are easily accessible (in addition there are more beautiful towns), and there is ample opportunity for great walks. All in all, something to once again go back for a week, you will not get far in that environment.

Our stay at the Country Farmhouse was simply delightful! The tranquil surroundings and stunning views of the meadows and vineyards made it a perfect getaway from our busy lives. The children loved the shared pool, and we enjoyed the barbecue in the lovely garden. The living room was comfortable, especially with the warmth of the wood stove during the cooler evenings. The farmhouse was well-equipped for our family of four, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Additionally, the nearby lake was just a few steps away, perfect for a day of leisure. We had that week no neighbors in the apartment next to us, which made the nights extra quiet. Every evening thousands of stars and "morning awakening with the sun. Daytime swim in the pool - much nicer than the pictures to believe. A fig tree next to our house with delicious fruits. The only thing that must be taken into account is the heat . The apartment did not meet our expectations at all. It looks fine in the photos, everything is certainly present, but everything is old. Worn out garden chair cushions, old and broken sunbeds on the terrace at the house, hard mattresses and a mess around the pool meant that we were not satisfied. Photos do not give a realistic picture in our opinion.

We come relax at this beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Also made a few day trips to Evora and Lisbon. Both do well from the apartment and definitely worth it! Also nice is a tour of dolmens, menhirs, etc., where there are many to be found in the omgeving.We had good contact with the farmer and his wife. The apartment was beautifully renovated in Portuguese style: the whole apartment was typical Portuguese tiles to find. Also fairly well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, TV, DVD player, coffee machine, juicer, barebeque, etc. Figs and pears we could pick around the house. And the pool was great to cool overlooking the lake and hills with sheep.

We were welcomed and made to feel at home by Johanna & Dick (the owners) right from the first moment -they kindly waited for us due to our late arrival (10.30pm) and having shown us our accommodation, offered us a refreshing beer to help us wind down after our journey. Very much needed as driving in a country we didn't know, on the opposite of the the road, in the pitch dark was quite stressful! We loved the house and the farm as a whole and they included us in a trip they were making to the market. We joined them and some of their friends for a couple of barbeques, with all of us providing something (one occasion was fish Paul had caught in their lake)and were made to feel very much part of the family. We enjoyed our talks and explanations of things on the farm. We had free access to the whole of the farm and the swimming pool area was a welcome resting place. Everything was so clean and the accommodation was delightful with more than everything you could need. The views from the terrace in the morning watching the sun come up, with the beautiful charolais cows in the fields opposite was an experience not to be missed. I could go on forever extolling our stay so will just say....if you want peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodation and fantastic hosts - this is the place to come. Thank you Johanna and Dick, your sister & your friends that we met (not forgetting your adorable dog, whose name we still can't say), it was an experience we will never forget. A number of factors make this home unique. The fantastic location, right in the hills, the modern device without prejudice to the Portuguese style and the warm welcome from the owner. We have already been several times on holiday in Portugal, but this was one of the highlights. The area has so much to see that we may again return.

During the day we were in the lovely pool overlooking the cork oak swim and we watched the varied environment with z" n many beautiful towns, castles and culture. 'S evening we enjoyed in our hammock overlooking the sun after undergoing all this! A great house with a welcoming reception by Joke (the owner) and a beautiful view and swimming pool. Moreover, even a lake where you can swim. What fun Ectra made was that the BBQ was held on the second night. Everyone took his own food and put it on the BBQ. We learned the other guests better and that was for both ourselves and our children pleasing to the touch the rest of the week. Casa Do Olival has shrunk. We had the largest terrace and beautiful views from all cottages. For everyone who loves peace and quiet, this is a real winner. Moreover, also an excellent base for Lisbon and other great cities.

A wonderful place surrounded by nature, yet with several supermarkets within 10 minutes, drive away and Lisbon itself on an hour drive away. But with that beautiful pool, with views ditto, you really no longer needed. The owners do everything for you to make sense. Normally we always book a cottage with 2 bedrooms. I had not looked good and we had only 1. We were like an extra room in another house that is still vacant. Also we got along in the jeep and was tasty told about the company and its lands, but only if you wish. In short, holiday as it should be: carefree.

We just got back and have spent 2 weeks in casa de olival. Very nice house completely furnished in Portuguese style. From the spacious terrace where our children are optimally entertained a magnificent view over the rolling farm. Our children aged 7 and 5 have wonderfully entertained in the natural environment and enjoyed the large pool which is so beautiful. The owner brought us regularly Joke delicious fresh fruit and vegetables from its own garden and we were free to pick lemons from the trees that we made delicious lemonade. We then said goodbye with tears in our eyes after 2 weeks. Joke thanks again for your hospitality! The girls would like a return to Joke Land!

Casa do Olival is an apartment that can accommodate two guests. We were with his four-and and took advantage of the bank and a folding bed. Because you're almost just outside was no problem. Bathroom, bedroom and living room were neat and clean. The kitchen was dirtier. There is a nice roomy and clean pool, the atmosphere is good, the views are beautiful, the owners warm and welcoming.

We joined them and some of their friends for a couple of barbeques, with all of us providing something (one occasion was fish Paul had caught in their lake)and were made to feel very much part of the family. We enjoyed our talks and explanations of things on the farm. We had free access to the whole of the farm and the swimming pool area was a welcome resting place. Everything was so clean and the accommodation was delightful with more than everything you could need. The views from the terrace in the morning watching the sun come up, with the beautiful charolais cows in the fields opposite was an experience not to be missed. I could go on forever extolling our stay so will just say....if you want peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodation and fantastic hosts - this is the place to come. Thank you Johanna and Dick, your sister & your friends that we met (not forgetting your adorable dog, whose name we still can't say), it was an experience we will never forget.

A number of factors make this home unique. The fantastic location, right in the hills, the modern device without prejudice to the Portuguese style and the warm welcome from the owner. We have already been several times on holiday in Portugal, but this was one of the highlights. The area has so much to see that we may again return.

After turning to the address, accompanied several kilometers on a dirt road, it was found that a special circumstance was that we were only in large farm, do for us far away from civilization. After being familiarized left the "overseer" who overigs it came to ask if everything was okay daily. Strikingly, the accessibility of all areas, including the empty apartment, an implicit trust radiated and an informal atmosphere. This made us feel quickly at ease. We were able to search and find what we needed, including fresh oranges. I can imagine that, if several residents, making it easy to contact if you would willen.Wat concerns the environment: Apart from the bumpy, we gradually less experienced as a nuisance, the roads in the area are fine. There is plenty to see and do. Lisbon and Évora are easily accessible (in addition there are more beautiful towns), and there is ample opportunity for great walks. All in all, something to once again go back for a week, you will not get far in that environment.

The apartment did not meet our expectations at all. It looks fine in the photos, everything is certainly present, but everything is old. Worn out garden chair cushions, old and broken sunbeds on the terrace at the house, hard mattresses and a mess around the pool meant that we were not satisfied. Photos do not give a realistic picture in our opinion.

Excellent location is quiet area. Relatively remote place, the hostess has a number of apartments / houses in their home / farm. This is a nice pool with stunning views. Hostess and her husband very friendly and helpful. Oa tips about the region. Fun to tour with the host in his jeep over their many hectares of territory.

A nice place to geieten of nature, tranquility and the beautiful pool. From the pool hebje unobstructed view over the hills of the Alenjento.De apartments are stylish and very complete ingericht.De road to the apartments was against us: + / -20 minutes bouncing over rocks and potholes, but if you once you place are that way soon forgotten!

We stayed 8-22 September 2007. We were welcomed and made to feel at home by Johanna & Dick (the owners) right from the first moment -they kindly waited for us due to our late arrival (10.30pm) and having shown us our accommodation, offered us a refreshing beer to help us wind down after our journey. Very much needed as driving in a country we didn't know, on the opposite of the the road, in the pitch dark was quite stressful! We loved the house and the farm as a whole and they included us in a trip they were making to the market. My daughter (6) and I have had a wonderful holiday. We stayed a week in our apartment that is in principle suitable for 4 persons but better for two. We had that week no neighbors in the apartment next to us, which made the nights extra quiet. Every evening thousands of stars and "morning awakening with the sun. Daytime swim in the pool - much nicer than the pictures to believe. A fig tree next to our house with delicious fruits. The only thing that must be taken into account is the heat . It was for us, with an average of 37 degrees, too hot to do much - except so cool off in the water. But it was also augustus.Sharon Gesthuizen, The Hague

fine home for an anti-stress holiday. A bit remote, but a quarter of Montemor, so that's fine for groceries and to get away from it all. The environment is worth.

We come relax at this beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Also made a few day trips to Evora and Lisbon. Both do well from the apartment and definitely worth it! Also nice is a tour of dolmens, menhirs, etc., where there are many to be found in the omgeving.We had good contact with the farmer and his wife. The apartment was beautifully renovated in Portuguese style: the whole apartment was typical Portuguese tiles to find. Also fairly well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, TV, DVD player, coffee machine, juicer, barebeque, etc. Figs and pears we could pick around the house. And the pool was great to cool overlooking the lake and hills with sheep.

We had a wonderful time at Giblaceirea! The atmosphere was relaxed, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The house was well taken care of the facility was fully equipped. "Morning we enjoyed on the veranda during breakfast the beautiful view. During the day we were in the lovely pool overlooking the cork oak swim and we watched the varied environment with z" n many beautiful towns, castles and culture. 'S evening we enjoyed in our hammock overlooking the sun after undergoing all this! Overall a must for anyone who just want to celebrate holidays and want to feel themselves welcome at this beautiful property!

A wonderful place surrounded by nature, yet with several supermarkets within 10 minutes, drive away and Lisbon itself on an hour drive away. But with that beautiful pool, with views ditto, you really no longer needed. The owners do everything for you to make sense. Normally we always book a cottage with 2 bedrooms. I had not looked good and we had only 1. We were like an extra room in another house that is still vacant. Also we got along in the jeep and was tasty told about the company and its lands, but only if you wish. In short, holiday as it should be: carefree.

A great house with a welcoming reception by Joke (the owner) and a beautiful view and swimming pool. Moreover, even a lake where you can swim. What fun Ectra made was that the BBQ was held on the second night. Everyone took his own food and put it on the BBQ. We learned the other guests better and that was for both ourselves and our children pleasing to the touch the rest of the week. Casa Do Olival has shrunk. We had the largest terrace and beautiful views from all cottages. For everyone who loves peace and quiet, this is a real winner. Moreover, also an excellent base for Lisbon and other great cities.

A nice place to relax. A pre was the large pool and fantastic location. The apartment was not really equipped for 4 persons. Besides 2 beds, there was a small sofa bed, which stood in the kitchen. The large terrace made amends.

We just got back and have spent 2 weeks in casa de olival. Very nice house completely furnished in Portuguese style. From the spacious terrace where our children are optimally entertained a magnificent view over the rolling farm. Our children aged 7 and 5 have wonderfully entertained in the natural environment and enjoyed the large pool which is so beautiful. The owner brought us regularly Joke delicious fresh fruit and vegetables from its own garden and we were free to pick lemons from the trees that we made delicious lemonade. We then said goodbye with tears in our eyes after 2 weeks. Joke thanks again for your hospitality! The girls would like a return to Joke Land!

We spent a lovely few days at this property. Besides, it is ideal to go with pet. Ideal for people who like nature, and that this right next to several hiking trails. If you can, do not forget the bike!!, As the place and the roads are ideal for riding your bike.

We (family with two children 10 and 12 years) had a wonderful week in this cottage. Friendly welcome, clean house and a nice stay, barbecue and pizza oven may be used freely, and the pool is really big.

Benefits listed on the BEVILLA site does not correspond to reality ...- Inside the cottage furniture shabby and dirty well-worn sofa, dishes with sticky food residue, thick dust on top of the chimney, the air conditioner and kitchen furniture mixed with toxic granules for mice present in large quantities on the net bed. Soil tights, shower curtain moldy etc ...- Exterior close with a hog consistently delivering strong odor of manure in a state of disrepair and making a significant noise nuisance.

Casa do Olival is an apartment that can accommodate two guests. We were with his four-and and took advantage of the bank and a folding bed. Because you're almost just outside was no problem.
