Charming getaway! We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the charming decor of the cottage. The dining options required a bit of driving, but the nearby lake made up for it with its beauty.

The place was clean and well-equipped, It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, The shared pool was lovely, especially on warm afternoons, We appreciated the trampoline for our little one, which kept her occupied for many hours.

We loved our stay here! Super quiet location, just a short drive from restaurants and supermarkets. The living room was cozy, and the wood stove made it feel like home. Perfect for a weekend getaway, but I wish there were more dining options nearby.

Overall a decent stay, The location is serene and perfect for nature lovers, The shared pool was a nice feature, However, we found the drive to the nearest supermarket a bit longer than expected.

A week stayed at this beautiful cottage. knocked everything, fully furnished, good kitchen. Everything was taken. Even the knives were sharp! (And we have not often experienced in a holiday) Environment is very nice. Car is necessary. The hosts are very friendly. Do everything possible to make everyone happy.

Of all the houses, apartments and hotels during our 2 month trip through Portugal and Andalusia was involved this holiday clearly one of the best. Friendly welcome, helpful Dutch owners, cozy clean, fully furnished house in a beautiful area. Here is the "evening really dark and sitting on the terrace you can enjoy calling the uilen.Tip: Use the directions given on the website of Quinta de Retiro. Then you know for sure that you at once to assembled correctly runs.

The owners, Jurrie and Marga Kramer are worth gold! A perfect house for 2 persons, furnished with a great big, private garden with short stroll to beautiful, chlorine-free pool. Excellent information material of the area and any time direct (warm) contact with Kramer gave us valuable tips for exploring the area. We felt "sauwohl"!

There were two in August at Casa Retiro. On the site there are 2 other cottages and the residence of the owner family. Since the houses are far apart, however, you do not feel disturbed by the neighbors. Since it was very hot, we knew the great, cooling pool without chlorine greatly appreciated. He's really great, very neat and clean. We were very pleasantly surprised as the the photo was not quite apparent. Though the other two houses were occupied at the same time on the site, we always had the pool to ourselves. The owners are very friendly and helpful and also speak German. In the house everything is there that you need, the equipment is not reasonably standard, but individual. Conclusion: Casa Retiro is recommended in any case!

Our stay at the cottage at Quinta do Retiro is one word to summarize: enjoy! We enjoyed the beautiful domain, the tranquility, nature, very cozy and perfectly decorated house on the slope. We certainly enjoyed the beautiful pool and the warm welcome that Jurrie and Marga gave us. And of course, we greatly enjoyed the beautiful Portugal! A huge windfall! Eric and Sabine from Leuven.

This really klopt.Het a place where just everything starts of course with the friendly, welcoming (and hard-working!) Owners Marga and Jur. We were welcomed on arrival with a drink on their terrace, and Jur just went to our house (Casa Retiro) to give some explanation. A week later we were even invited to Jurries birthday and the day before leaving on a afscheidsborrel.Ons house is fully equipped and exceeded even our expectations! Spacious, nicely decorated, big terrace, nice view, lots of privacy because the other houses on large distance staan.Het whole area exudes peace and space. It is so huge that it often seemed as if we were the only guests, even in the ecological (!) Pool we were often in pairs (we count the frogs croaking not count) .And useful the information folder in the house with all kinds of tips for trips, restaurants etc.Kortom recommended! R nThe owners Marga and Jurre are hearty and sweet people, nothing is their too much, they have done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible., r nFijn pool without gloor, was also attractive r nIt is a place where we definitely come back again. r nWe could even received the Dutch channels on the TV. r nWe can say it was a fantastic holiday., with lots of peace and nature.

Here there is no light and noise, only noise from nature. Beautiful hiking area in the hilly landscape to go with the possibility to nearby mountains. Car is required.

Casa Retiro is a lovely cottage, it offers privacy and has a terrace with beautiful views. The pool without chlorine on site is also delicious and actually always nice and quiet. In the area there is plenty to do; sports activities in nature and there are beautiful towns nearby. In short, we really enjoyed our holiday.
