We can offer three detached, luxurious villas with private jetty and dinghy at luxury holiday resort Waterstaete Ossenzijl.
There's a 6-person villa (NL-8376-07) with three bedrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. These are also equipped with en-suite bathrooms with walk-in shower and toilet. There's room to park one car at the villa.
There's also an 8-person villa (NL-8376-08) with four bedrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet. The other three bedrooms are upstairs. One of these is equipped with an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. The third bathroom is also fitted with a walk-in shower. There's a separate toilet on the landing. There's room to park one car at the villa.
Finally, there is a 4-person villa (NL-8376-09) with two upstairs bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. There's a separate toilet on both floors. There is parking space for one car.
All villas are immediately on the (fishing) water and they have comfortable, luxurious and complete interiors. They all feature a living room with smart TV and an open kitchen with combination microwave oven (or separate oven and microwave) and dishwasher. All bedrooms are furnished with two single box-spring beds, either pushed together to make a double bed, or set up as a twin room. Outside, you'll find a garden and a furnished terrace. You'll also have a jetty and a dinghy at your disposal (March to October).

Location and surroundings of object
Waterstaete Ossenzijl opened its doors in May 2019. This luxury holiday resort on the edge of the Weerribben-Wierden National Park will consist of 57 luxurious villas when it is completed. All villas are set on the waterfront (fishing water) and come with a jetty and a dinghy (April to October).
Your typical day might look like this: start the day with some nice, fresh bread rolls on your terrace. After that, you could do some fishing from your own jetty, explore the beautiful surroundings by bike, go sailing on the nearby Frisian lakes or visit one of the many cities in the region. When you return to your villa, you can make yourself comfortable and enjoy all the luxury it has to offer.
The holiday resort has a reception. A sandy beach will be developed later on. There are plenty of things to see and do in the immediate vicinity. Day trips to the surrounding provinces of Friesland, Drenthe and Flevoland are all worthwhile. Think for example of cities like Oldemarkt (5 km), Giethoorn (21 km), Meppel (32 km), Drachten (49 km) and Zwolle (54 km). The national forestry organisation's visitor centre in Ossenzijl can provide you with lots of information about nature reserve De Weerribben. There's an interesting walk in Kalenberg (9 km) that takes you right through the reeds (bring your wellies!). If you want to get a good view across the surroundings, you should visit the lookout tower at De Woldberg in Steenwijk (18 km), near teashop Tuk's Theehuis. Nature lovers have a wide range of cycling and walking tours to choose from. Including less traditional options like GeoRun The Signs. This 11-km long step-bike route uses GPS coordinates to take you along the fields, forests and marshes of the Vechtdal region in Overijssel province. Children will love the following day trips: Avonturenpark Hellendoorn (81 km), Walibi (54 km), Attractiepark Slagharen (65 km), Plopsaland Indoor Coevorden (78 km) and Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen (85 km). To name just a few. Culture enthusiasts might try some of the many museums in the area, like Museum Belvédère in Heerenveen-Oranjewoud (29 km), Anton Pieck Museum in Hattem ( 55 km) and Drents Museum in Assen (65 km).
In short, this ideal holiday destination has something to offer for everyone in the family. Come and unwind in this wonderful waterfront villa!
Waterstaete Ossenzijl is still under construction. The building works might cause some inconvenience during the day. Everything is being done to try and limit the inconvenience as much as possible.
Service costs are charged for the sloop and an extra deposit of 35, - is requested. These charges apply from the beginning of April to the end of October.

They are very nice houses, and for a good price you can also rent the sloop out of season. Cottages are nicely furnished and equipped with comfort. We always go with a large group and for the first time in years there was a really big pan. If there was a point of criticism it was that there is relatively little space between the shower and the sink. As a result, you will get some splashes on you if you stand at the sink while someone is in the shower. Location is also excellent, beautiful nature and wonderful sailing routes. And a beautiful large terrace with both dining table and lounge set. We had given up our preference for a fence around the terrace because of the presence of little ones. That was ideal.

Great house. Inside it was fairly clean. Outside, the spider webs were allowed to be removed once. The boat was great fun. The umbrellas were bad. One was broken by the wind because the foot was not heavy enough and the other was already crooked. We had two communication companies. Belvilla and Roompot. You will be billed for each. No longer clear. The reception at the park is fine.

Luxury cottage, with beautiful large rooms. Private jetty for the sloop that is located at the cottage. Quiet, small and new park. Went out by boat every day. Friendly welcome. Some houses also have their own charging station for electric cars. Note: less suitable for a holiday with smaller children (lots of water around, terrace was completely closed with a fence), but there is nothing in the park for children (no toys), you can go to nearby park to use the swimming pool / playground.

The area was beautiful for boating and cycling. The bread service is a must. This park is not suitable for young children.

The park is, as is known, still under construction. But despite that, it is really terribly beautiful. The houses are beautifully finished and all the furniture is beautiful. The sloop at the house is very nice and you can enjoy sailing in the area.

The great location, the terrace with great furniture, the wonderful weather and the boat gave us a wonderful week with friends. But the equipment and especially the cleanliness leave a lot to be desired at the price (2200 € / week).

They are beautiful villas on the water with their own boat. Everything is still quite new and therefore everything looks good. It is still a bit messy around the park, think of some building materials etc. The villas its top. You can enjoy sailing the Weerribben by boat. Especially with good weather you will certainly have a good time.

We had an excellent stay in our water villa. One minus was the cleaning. The house was very badly cleaned! I also missed cupboard space in the kitchen to clean up the groceries. The environment, the sloop was all top.

Kitchen furnishings were a bit minimal (blunt knives, too few tea glasses, etc.), but that was solvable. Only real pity were the bad and narrow beds. Would be nice if you could invest in it!

Great beautiful small-scale park with beautiful houses. Nice that the interior is also so complete. The accompanying sloop was also top notch. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we were barely able to use it. The home delivery of meals was also super organized! We will definitely be back!!!!!
