Giethoorn holiday park offers a variety of different modern accommodations. However, there is one thing they all have in common. Each is located right on the water with direct access to Het Bovenwijde lake. You can select from a variety of different accommodation types. The comfortable and fully furnished Meerkoet variant (NL-8355-11) is suitable for 4 people. The 4-person types De Rietzanger (NL-8355-10), De Reiger (NL-8355-12) and the 6-person types De Stern (NL-8355-14), De Overstern (NL-8355-26) and De Roerdomp (NL-8355-27) even come with a second bathroom. The wonderful location of NL-8355-26 certainly deserves a mention. Situated at the head of the spit, you have a marvellously vast view across Het Belterwijde. All water lodges are equipped with WiFi and a terrace/garden with garden furniture. From February till the end of Oktober an electro sloop is included in the price during your stay.

Location and surroundings of object
Holiday Park Giethoorn is located in the centre of the "Venice of the north". The village is known for the water, and on the park, this is no different. The entrance via the (steep) wooden foot bridge and the location on the banks of the Bovenwijde lake (with various water sports options) are lovely evidence of this. The surroundings are perfect for lovely walking and cycling excursions. The Weerribben-Wieden nature area is just around the corner. Cities such as Heerenveen (approx. 31 km) and Zwolle (approx. 38 km) are also easy to reach and well worth the trip. The park has a charming cafe where you can relax and enjoy something to eat and drink after a day full of activities, or really, whenever you like. There is also a play area for the children. All of these options make Holiday Park Giethoorn an ideal location for a lovely stay.
Holiday Park Giethoorn is a small park in the midst of a natural area with a great deal of water. There are also plenty of options for activities and taking excursions.
Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 22.
Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged 50 p.p. deposit.
from 2 April to 1 November the accommodation also includes a electric boat. Holiday park Giethoorn will ask a deposit of € 35, -.

It was a great chalet with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Also the sloop was a nice addition to the whole. The environment was certainly nice and beautiful to make trips by boat, Giethoorn is a beautiful small town with many good restaurants A pity that during our stay (21) the terrace was in the afternoon shade, because the weather was very erratic. No contact with the manager, except for a phone call upon arrival. No extra linen set for a stay of 3 weeks, 1 towel and 1 smaller towel per person for 3 weeks, no extra set or replacement during your stay. No bath towels provided. Often people on the plot without notice, for example picking figs from trees. Beds extremely soft.

The arrival was warm. I was mistaken in the distance from parking place to house. Since I have been ill and had no energy to get there. But we made it to my fellow residents. The caretaker allowed us to use a wheelchair for a week. What was very grateful otherwise I would not have benefited from this week. I found the accommodation a bit disappointing for the money we had paid for it. The furniture chairs were very worn. Sunday we got 3 other chairs that looked good. The layout was very basic. It was tidy and problems were resolved properly, and if I booked my house at Belvilla, it does not say that it is unsuitable for people with a disability. It was only when I received the deposit and tourist tax papers from the Roompot that it stated what I find strange. Otherwise you could have ordered another house at a different park. It is that I had help from my fellow residents otherwise I would have had a problem and you are not going to relax for a week.

The use of the boat at the cottage is very nice, you can go shopping by boat to the spar. The cottage is complete, but slightly on the tight side for 6 people, the cottage is very quick warm but that the "evening well cools had we not much affected, there are lots of screens. The car parking fairly walk and to get the luggage over the bridge takes some effort (especially if you have difficulty walking). in a second time driving into the parking lot you have to use the card instead of the button for the barrier otherwise you also come to pass no more af.Al in all a wonderful holiday.

A special luxury lodge, brand new and with an eye for detail. 6-seater variant comes with 2nd bathroom, and yet that's me fine! Good price and electric boat is the absolute X-factor. 3 devices per wifi code is tight and especially for mobile phones is not as convenient and slow. Fine for laptops / tablets. Eating on time, because in Giethoorn, everything closes early.

We have been there a long weekend and it was super! The cottage was especially nice and was a plus that a boat at SAT. The bread service was also fine. Very tasty sandwiches and pick up from 09.00.

We have been there a long weekend and it was super! The cottage was especially nice and was a plus that a boat at SAT. The bread service was also fine. Very tasty sandwiches and pick up from 09.00.

Friendly reception. A very neat and clean house. Due to the weather (rain) did not use the nice terrace. Smooth lawn. The 'whispering thought our kids great. Two bathrooms was also very nice.

The arrival was fine. It is difficult with the luggage because you cannot get there by car. The accommodation is great for a weekend with 6 people in terms of space. There was still a nice chair in the living room and the household items were minimal, so the dishwasher always had to be on. Environment is beautiful !!

Great holiday home, very respectful. We were lucky we had a great weather and had a lot of things to go, otherwise we were looking forward to it and relatively small house (6 people). Unfortunately, every day there was a badness to our boat. If you are away from home then that's not nice, certainly not if you can not handle it and it was very hot. An emergency number on board is no unnecessary luxury.

the area was beautiful, the arrival less, there was not told that you could first get the boat to pick up your bags, so have us a break lug. 4 hours under the road because the parking was no. 14, we got from Belvilla by 49, well that is the house no. where you can report and where the reception is. so clearly put in the papers .1 day lost, thank you Belvilla

Even a weekend at home among Chinese tourists. Delicious combination of a comfortable chalet and a nice boat (electric) with each chalet. We enjoyed it but have you had any routes in two days.

The access is clear and the parking lot is large and available, but with little difficulty in delivering luggage through bridges crossing waterways
The reception is beautiful and so is the hospitality and staff are very friendly
The housing is clean but narrow, and the important thing is the presence of insect nets
Boats were sweet but they broke down on us and were fixed and better in terms of control

On arrival we were booked another cottage but it was a similar one. The cottage was small but we knew that when booking, so no problem. Fortunately the weather was good so we were mostly outside. The area is very beautiful, the boat at the cottage is an added value. The bread service was not good. We filled in on our magazine that we would like to pick them up at 8 am (according to explanation it was possible between 8 and 10), the reception changed this immediately to half past 9. The day itself the reception was closed at half past eight and we finally our sandwiches at 9 o'clock. We found this unfortunate because we had just planned a day trip in which early departure was highly recommended. For pleasure during a holiday you take care of yourself, so we must have a good company, we had a great week.

The use of the boat at the cottage is very nice, you can go shopping by boat to the spar. The cottage is complete, but slightly on the tight side for 6 people, the cottage is very quick warm but that the "evening well cools had we not much affected, there are lots of screens. The car parking fairly walk and to get the luggage over the bridge takes some effort (especially if you have difficulty walking). in a second time driving into the parking lot you have to use the card instead of the button for the barrier otherwise you also come to pass no more af.Al in all a wonderful holiday.

A great house right on the water with an electric boat. Good equipment, everything that you need. The children enjoyed the best way to go shopping for food by boat. Definitely an experience.

The arrival was warm. I was mistaken in the distance from parking place to house. Since I have been ill and had no energy to get there. But we made it to my fellow residents. The caretaker allowed us to use a wheelchair for a week. What was very grateful otherwise I would not have benefited from this week. I found the accommodation a bit disappointing for the money we had paid for it. The furniture chairs were very worn. Sunday we got 3 other chairs that looked good. The layout was very basic. It was tidy and problems were resolved properly, and if I booked my house at Belvilla, it does not say that it is unsuitable for people with a disability. It was only when I received the deposit and tourist tax papers from the Roompot that it stated what I find strange. Otherwise you could have ordered another house at a different park. It is that I had help from my fellow residents otherwise I would have had a problem and you are not going to relax for a week.

A special luxury lodge, brand new and with an eye for detail. 6-seater variant comes with 2nd bathroom, and yet that's me fine! Good price and electric boat is the absolute X-factor. 3 devices per wifi code is tight and especially for mobile phones is not as convenient and slow. Fine for laptops / tablets. Eating on time, because in Giethoorn, everything closes early.

No contact with the manager, except for a phone call upon arrival. No extra linen set for a stay of 3 weeks, 1 towel and 1 smaller towel per person for 3 weeks, no extra set or replacement during your stay. No bath towels provided. Often people on the plot without notice, for example picking figs from trees. Beds extremely soft.
We had a good stay because we know the area and customs, but if you don't know that, the information from the manager is minimal

Had a great holiday, glad we had beautiful weather and we could sail much otherwise there is little to do at the park. Too bad that in the brochure that there is a shop for groceries while forgetting it was not there.

It was a great chalet with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Also the sloop was a nice addition to the whole. The environment was certainly nice and beautiful to make trips by boat, Giethoorn is a beautiful small town with many good restaurants A pity that during our stay (21) the terrace was in the afternoon shade, because the weather was very erratic.
