Peace, nature, relaxation and culture! From De Marke van Ruinen country estate you will see many nature areas such as the Ruinen forest station and the Dwingelderveld national park. Quick and easy to reach for outstanding hiking and cycling. In the 1200 hectare nature area with heath, forest and lovely fens, you can really be at ease. The village of Ruinen has all provisions and an extensive selection of shops. Hit a ball on the 18 hold golf course in Havelte or on the Pitch and Putt Golf in Koekange. If you'd rather visit a museum or gallery, there are plenty in Hoogeveen, Assen and Meppel. The park offers spacious new villas with a great deal of privacy. You can hire cycles on the park, so that you can explore the area by bike and you don't have to take your bike with you.

The De Marke van Ruinen country estate offers lovely new villas with a great deal of privacy.
The park has no facilities, so peace and quiet are maintained. It is located near national parks Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese Wold.

Three nights spent in this bungalow, and I can say it was quite relaxing. The open kitchen made cooking easy, and having a garden to enjoy was a real plus. I really appreciated being able to walk my dog around the village and through the nearby park.

A cozy living room welcomed us after long days exploring outside. The shower worked well when we returned from hikes, which made all the difference. Easy access to local shops too for snacks or drinks.
