The six-person accommodations at Resort Reestervallei come in four different designs.
The Pavilion 6 type (NL-7955-35) is designed in a modern way and has large windows. That is why there is plenty of light in the living room. It is overall fully furnished and luxurious. There is a microwave, dishwasher and a separate toilet. You have access to three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed (or two single beds) and two with two singles each.
The Hackfort 6 type (NL-7955-37). They're fitted with a combination microwave oven and a dishwasher. You have access to three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed (or two single beds). Both remaining bedrooms contain two single beds or a bunk bed. You have access to a separate toilet.
All of Resort Reestervallei's chalets are detached and they're all ground-floor accommodations. They all have a TV, electric kettle and a coffee machine. Each chalet comes with its own garden and terrace. During the season, you'll also have garden furniture at your disposal.
The various types of chalets all have different exteriors and interiors, but even chalets of the same type can have small individual differences. The descriptions and pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.

Location and surroundings of object
Resort Reestervallei is located by the ancient peat river De Reest, just like the name suggests. It's only 2 km from the village of IJhorst and on the other side you'll find the border between Overijssel and Drenthe at the same distance. Both provinces can therefore easily be explored from the so-called "Kop van Overijssel".
Resort Reestervallei offers a number of facilities for both young and old. There's a reception, a modest outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool and a restaurant. Here you can of course have a bite to eat, but you can also get a cup of coffee with a treat. There's also a petting zoo, mini golf, a playground and a tennis court. Everything is there, but not big or large-scale, making sure that you can always enjoy your well-deserved break in peace. At only 3 km from the resort you'll find playing pond De Zwarte Dennen, located in the Staphorst forest. Here you'll find a nice sandy beach, lawns and a playground for the children. Because the water deepens only gradually, it's an ideal place for (smaller) children. During high season you can get drinks and snacks at the kiosk.
There's more than enough to do in the area. A few tips for nice (day) trips are: the nice city of Zwolle with its diverse offer in shops, boutiques and nice restaurants and outdoor cafes (22 km). National Park Weeribben-Wieden, the largest contiguous peat swamp of Northwestern Europe, is also certainty worth visiting. Giethoorn, also called the Dutch Venice, with a trip on the water (17 km). The Staphorst Experience Path, near recreational lake De Zwarte Dennen, is also recommended. Here you'll meet everything that has to do with the forest in a different way. A noise hut, a colour room and a maze; all of this is less than 4 km away from the resort. For dolmen enthusiasts Havelte is certainty worth a visit (16 km). Amusement park Slagharen is worth a day trip (17 km). Staphorst is about 8 km away. For golf enthusiasts there's Pitch and Putt Koekange, a beautiful 18-hole golf course that fits perfectly in the landscape. From the resort you can also visit the province of Drenthe and even the Veluwe can be easily reached.
In short: you can fully unwind in Resort Reestervallei, enjoy your well-deserved holiday and head out to explore the diverse surroundings. Happy holidays!
Reestervallei resort is in the Reestdal to the north of Overijssel. Located in a forested area. It has various facilities for young and old and is only 3 km from a paddling pond. the black pines with sandy beach, lawn for sunbathing and a children's play area. An ideal base for those who want to explore the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel.
Wi-Fi is included. However, this is a basic internet connection. There is higher-speed internet available as well, which can be arranged at the reception desk. Bear in mind that this comes with an additional fee.

A very nice house, nice interior, good beds, nice sofa. Really worth it. Only the cleaning left a lot to be desired while you pay 55 euros for it. Then you expect that you can enjoy your holiday in a clean and fresh house.

We were very well received. We do not speak Dutch, but the whole operation of the resort (access cards to the resort and garbage containers, the restaurant menu, the pool and the chalet) was explained in English The accommodation was very tastefully decorated and the living room very nice. The bedding was very comfortable. The equipment (pots, pans and cutlery) was very basic, the kitchen furniture brittle (bad quality a missing door on our arrival) .Difference for the furniture of the bathroom. But it was very functional with a double sink and an extra toilet and a large walk-in shower.The environment was very quiet wooded, with the fishing pond nearby.The terrace was very nice.We were lucky to have a wonderful time and take all our meals outside (morning, noon and evening)

Very nice house with all amenities. People are very customer friendly. Some cottages have their own fence and play equipment for children. Small children can therefore easily be monitored.

chalet where we were, was very nice at the edge of the forest, so we also had shade in the large garden (was nice during the heat wave), garden was fenced, so nice for our dog. We had the children's chalet, including games, TV and PlayStation on the children's room. They thought that was great of course, even though they did not really play with that. Chalet was equipped with everything, the only thing we liked less is that the window in the master bedroom can not open! With the heat wave it was very stuffy. luckily we had an extra fan! A very nice place where we all came to rest!

We were very well received. We do not speak Dutch, but the whole operation of the resort (access cards to the resort and garbage containers, the restaurant menu, the pool and the chalet) was explained in English The accommodation was very tastefully decorated and the living room very nice. The bedding was very comfortable. The equipment (pots, pans and cutlery) was very basic, the kitchen furniture brittle (bad quality a missing door on our arrival) .Difference for the furniture of the bathroom. But it was very functional with a double sink and an extra toilet and a large walk-in shower.The environment was very quiet wooded, with the fishing pond nearby.The terrace was very nice.We were lucky to have a wonderful time and take all our meals outside (morning, noon and evening)

A very nice house, nice interior, good beds, nice sofa. Really worth it. Only the cleaning left a lot to be desired while you pay 55 euros for it. Then you expect that you can enjoy your holiday in a clean and fresh house.
