a midweek early June 2016 spent in the picturesque cottage which is equipped with all modern amenities and is located in a beautiful natural setting. Waking up to the sound of the birds and surrounding farmlands with many hares and rabbits. The enclosed garden was a paradise for the dog. Welcoming and friendly manager who is always ready with advice. If it was up to the dog (and us) we went back immediately !!

Because we are using public transport were the landlady Marika picked us up by car from the railway station Ommen and brought back at the end of the holiday. The cottage was smaller than we thought but furnished very cozy and comfortable. There was even thought of Christmas decorations! We rented bikes in Den Ham. We walked for hours every day and cycled. The environment is very beautiful! A walk or bike ride along the river Regge is highly recommended. Marika and her husband John are very friendly people who will do anything to make you happy. We had a fine Christmas week in the cozy cottage "Blackbird".

It was a wonderful week in a snug and cozy cooking cottage next to the farm. We did not bring it back in our week but have been able to go walking in the area with our dog. A walking tour of the Regge is recommended. The cottage was well equipped and also for the dog there was plenty.
