Canoeing and paddleboarding on De Tolplas lake are also popular activities, while kids enjoy the nearby playgrounds.

Discover green Twente! When you arrive in the surprising environment of Twente, you'll forget that you're in the Netherlands. In the midst of this green landscape you'll the De Tolplas recreation park. Not far from the park you'll find the Sallandse Heuvelrug, a beautiful region with rolling heaths and extensive forests. Don't forget to bring your bike, or hire one on the park. The area is perfect for beautiful excursions. Go shopping for a day in Almelo or Enschede, or take your kids to Adventure Park Hellendoorn or the covered playgrounds in Almelo and Borne. For golf lovers, there is an 18 hole golf course in Hoge Hexel, and one in Wierden. Spread out of the park there are various types of chalets and bungalows. In the heart of the park there is a large recreation lake, where you can swim and fish. The park has a tennis court, a boules pitch, table tennis and a play fort with sandbox for the littlest guests.
De Tolplas recreation park is a spacious park, ideal for seekers of rest and nature. It is located in lovely Twenty on the border of the Sallandse Heuvelrug national park. It has many facilities, including a large fishing and recreation lake in the middle of the park.
If your housepet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accomodation may be refused upon arrival. To arrange this, contact the customer service center by phone.
Until December 15, 2021, work will be carried out around the types: Chalet 4 (NL-7645-10), Wellness Chalet 4 (NL-7645-14), Chalet 6 (NL-7645-15) & Wellness Chalet 6 ( NL-7645-18) in connection with new lodges. This can cause some inconvenience, we will of course do everything we can to keep this to a minimum.

Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always by request. If the reservation is approved, the following rules will apply: max. 1 employee per bedroom, an extra cleaning cost will be billed every two weeks, and every two weeks there will be a charge for new bed linen.

Our stay was very pleasant. The house was spacious and well-equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare our meals. We loved the nearby parks and the quiet surroundings. Definitely a great choice for families.

The house is beautifully furnished and has a cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed our evenings on the terrace while we absorbed the peaceful ambiance. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed during our stay, but there are many dining options nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay in the detached cabin in Twente. The garden was a nice addition, perfect for coffee in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped; we prepared a few meals and lacked nothing. The location was chill, surrounded by nature, which was great for our little walks. Just a heads up, WiFi was sometimes a bit slow, but honestly, it wasn't a dealbreaker. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!
