Kotman's Spieker is a super cozy house in the beautiful Twente countryside and near Enschede. Lovely fireplace, cosily furnished and unobstructed view. We have been coming here for a weekend once a year for years now. Recommended!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Cottage is very idyllic and quiet, a little lonely. The stairs to the upper floor (bedrooms) is very steep, therefore not suitable for small children or the elderly. But everything is there, what you need for a quiet and relaxing holiday. If you want is in a short time in the next town, you can go shopping very well, good food and shopping. The only drawback: The back of the house has a door to the garden, which unfortunately can not be completed. We found that very scary ...

Very nice house just outside the city. Very hospitable owners with a very friendly dog. Great view over the meadows and fruit trees. Also nice that the cows walk past your house and you can and may look into the stables.

Great house that farmer Hems has built itself .We are very impressed with its craftsmanship .We have great enjoyed the peace and nature, but assured the company of dog Bo, who came to look nice every morning if you wake up was.En cows who walked along the house to the farm, to be milked by eg farmer Ina .They were always in for a chat, but certainly respect your private.Mijn husband, dog and I have been a midweek but it felt like two weeks!

The farm is on a B road with lots of traffic diversion. The evening stroll with dogs \/ children is dangerous. To be able to safely walk (along the canal) with the dogs we had 500 meters away by auto.Verder was a very pleasant stay.

We have enjoyed two weeks of rest and the unobstructed view of the meadows and orchards. The cottage is very rustic, cozy and almost all amenities. The number of beds for us two (!) Ample. The cottage able to book for 6, but in "emergency" there is room for 8-10 (+ 2 children). Residing at the meadows with cows in summer has the disadvantage of mosquitoes and flies. At first you can lubricate. Against the flies would fly screen (or hor) are not a luxury. Now we had to do every night with the whisk round. Our children aged 10, 9 and 7 have learned so much about rural life and are still with plenty of other questions, so we should definitely return. That's certainly not bad !! The family is very hospitable and do everything to make you feel at home. Take the time to answer the questions and you really give a glimpse into their business. Kids were invited to the tractor and help feed the calves. Beau the dog has these days been their thickest friend. We as parents enjoyed the beautiful scenery and tranquility, but also Hengelo and Enschede are up to 10 minutes away. Large market in Enschede on Saturday. Half day Waarbeek (theme park based on the old fairground) is great fun for children up to 12 years and is almost around the corner. For more entertainment Hellendoorn is good to drive. About 20 min. We are not tired and come back here for sure !!!

Everything was well organized. Clean, great location and fully equipped. We were two small children in the cottage and this is fine to do. The cottage is next to the meadow and the cows looked inside. Further complete privacy. The dog of the owner was super sweet and really a beautiful beast.

When these people make you feel welcome from the first minute and at ease! Super accommodating. Nice old house, large tuinopp. For ourselves with full visibility pasture (with cows and / or horses). There was a large trampoline put in the garden for our children of 2,3 and 5. They were with the calves in the barn and along on the tractor!
