This rural holiday home is located in Haaksbergen in Overijssel and has a hottub. It can accommodate up to 4 people and has 2 beautiful bedrooms. It is perfect for a small family or for couples who want to holiday together.
Several places to visit in the region are Bad Bentheim, Oldenzaal in Germany and the city of Ootmarsum. There are also nature reserves Lutterzand and Springendal, where you can enjoy cycling, walking or horseback riding. The town centre, general facilities, restaurants, nightlife and public transport are 4 km away and the forest is 100 m away.
The 2 bedrooms, the living/dining room, the open kitchen and the bathroom are all located on the ground floor. The holiday home also has a garden with a big terrace, barbecue and your own Hottub where you can relax. Deer, pheasants and lambs pass by on the meadow outside. There are plenty of opportunities for children to play outside.

We were warmly welcomed and it is a very nice house, comfortable and stylishly furnished. The area is beautiful and you experience the silence, great area for walking and cycling. We did find it a pity that there are so many old, dilapidated barns on the site.

The window in that bedroom cannot be opened.
Curtains do not close properly.
The area around the house is unpleasant and very messy.

Johan is a flexible host. We arrived in a beautiful studio. Very nicely decorated and equipped with every luxury. You could also enjoy the terrace outside in the rural surroundings. The area is very beautiful. Ideal for a cycling holiday.

The photo on the site suggests otherwise than reality. From the large glass windows (with curtains only on one side and therefore no possibilities for darkening the other glass front. We solved this by closing the large shutters halfway in the evening. ) there is a view of (the back of a barn, the The owner's house and a residence under renovation. Such a photo would also be transparent. During our midweek two people were renovating. Noise was not too bad and we received a bottle of wine from the owner, but privacy was not at stake. order. In good weather, staying on the terrace would not have been a quiet option. It was cold and no terrace weather, so .... The house itself deserves a better cleaning, but also attention to aging. Sufficient facilities in the kitchen, equipment, TV, etc. Very annoying were the numerous chickens and roosters behind the house, which woke us up every morning at 6. The house was ready upon arrival. Beds made, tasty types of tea to be able to make tea. The house is spacious and nicely furnished and fully equipped. Environment is beautifully wooded and rural. Haaksbergen within cycling distance for all groceries. At the house also a large garden table with chairs, separate seating for sunbathing and sun beds. You could also make a fire and there was a BBQ. Also equipped outside with all conveniences.

It was a beautiful house in a rural area. It was a pity that you looked out on an old barn instead of the green landscape. What was less that no window can be opened in one of the bedrooms and that there is no extractor hood in the open kitchen.
