The Hessenheem holiday park offers a small taste of what makes the area so famous; peace and nature. In a separate area, on the edge of the Markelose forests and in the extension of the Buitencentrum Hessenheem, the accommodations are playfully situated among the beautiful trees. A beautifully landscaped stream, with romantic bridges, manoeuvres itself through the holiday park past the luxury chalets.

Although Vakantiepark Hessenheem is characterized by its tranquility, you can use the facilities that the adjacent Buitencentrum has to offer. On beautiful summer days you can, for example, take a dip in the swimming pool and have a bite to eat at Buur & Buuf, a famous local eatery.

The pleasant village of Markelo is around 2.5 km away. and has nice shops, a few museums and pleasant terraces to offer. Nature lovers have found their place here. De Borkeld nature reserve and the Sallandse Heuvelrug are both within cycling distance and offer countless beautiful walking and cycling routes. If you did not bring your own bicycles, you can rent them at the holiday park. The city of Deventer (approx. 30 km.) has a rich history and a lively centre with many sights.

Hessenheem Holiday Park is a wonderful base from which to discover beautiful Twente.

What a wonderful getaway! The chalet was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, The large windows provided gorgeous views of the surrounding forest, We especially loved the peace and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring nearby attractions

The location is great! Right next to the forest and close to a few charming cafés. We were a group of friends and it fit well. The only downside was that the parking was a bit tight. But overall, we would happily stay again!

Great stay here! The smart TV was a nice touch, the place was clean and well-equipped for cooking, it was super close to the forest, which was perfect for morning walks.

What a big disappointment ... Upon entering the floors turned out to be very dirty everywhere. On further inspections a very dirty combi microwave. The leftovers of the previous tenants still in the sink. Walls that were full of dead mosquitoes, etc. Garden cushions unusable because of raining soaking wet and after days still not dry. Washing machine in the shed outside. Frying pans too dirty to handle and ripe for the bin. Plates not clean, etc. We are not used to this from Belvilla !! After reporting to the park, the floors were mopped immediately. The comment about the garden cushions was brushed aside.. The last time for now..
