A problem with the hot water supply was quickly resolved by the technical service. The equipment of the house was excellent. The area around Markelo is ideal for beautiful cycling trips, through the well-known junctions. The electric bicycles could be safely parked in the outbuilding at the lodge. House was beautiful. But financial settlement is a drama. Towel packages and linen packages were charged twice. No beds made while it was paid for. Already called six times about this and it is still not settled.

The pictures presented are not the same as what you get. General design of the space fine but i chose based on a private location and instead got a house on a street with a view of 3 houses. Not really a get away by any means. And interior w a silly small couch and uncomfortable chairs versus the interior shown in the advertisement. Again we rented a house specifically to spend time together, so make the space cozy and useful not cheap uncomfortable furniture. Or at least when you show a picture rent the one you advertise not a different one.

Unfortunately, the house was not really clean, we went to the supermarket to get cleaning products, etc., so that our son could play there. It was especially gross in there bedroom. We had a bed on the side, and that probably never happens…. The houses are really close together, we had a completely different idea of what it looked like. Microwave had also had its day, sparks were flying around to warm up a bottle. We will certainly not go here again.

Quiet park with squirrels and cheerful chirping birds. The houses are playfully arranged, usually with a water feature in sight. The interior of the cottages is luxurious and fully equipped. Friendly staff and restaurant "de Loep" is excellent, we had a delicious meal there. In short, highly recommended.

It was a great holiday and a good alternative to our actual holiday. The park is green and quiet, enough space to relax. The cabin was great. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Fully equipped. Swimming pool was fine, children liked it very much. Only point for improvement is the arrival time, which could be more spacious.

The forest lodge is a modern, pleasantly arranged and furnished house suitable for 4 people. The location is spacious with other similar houses in a circle around a beautiful pond. There are oak trees scattered between the houses, but there is a lot of sun. The large glass facade made it very hot inside in this tropical week. There was plenty of shade on the side terrace, and at night loud bangs caused by acorns falling from the trees onto the metal roofs startle you. That is a real shame because the house, the park and the area are also a great vacation spot.

Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings and a very friendly welcome at the reception. It's a bit of a search in the park to find it, but once you're there it's very beautiful. The park is laid out with ponds and caged carp, the holiday homes look very nice and there is the option to park a car at the door. Our cottage was very clean and well maintained. The bedding was supplied with the option to have this made up as well. The beds slept well and the cottage was fully equipped. There is, among other things, a dishwasher, washing machine and a TV. We have been able to enjoy the weather optimally because of the outdoor seating and beautiful location. We definitely recommend visiting the Sallandse Heuvelrug and other Twente beauties and would love to come back here.

Experienced good stay. Cottage was not completely clean, smelled a bit musty.Jammer also from one sofa and 2 separate (design) chairs. Chairs not nice to sit on for a long time.Jammer that there were only 2 blocks for the dishwasher and no detergent or cif at all.

A beautiful park, looks super nice and maintained. A nice house, all the trimmings ... large garden (house 26) but a smaller TV than in the photos. And the peace .... so wonderful, you really only hear birds. We will definitely come back.

The forest lodge is located in a beautiful green area in a quiet park, as if you are in a blackbird aviary! The house was perfect in every way. A problem with the hot water supply was quickly resolved by the technical service. The equipment of the house was excellent. The area around Markelo is ideal for beautiful cycling trips, through the well-known junctions. The electric bicycles could be safely parked in the outbuilding at the lodge. A beautiful lounge set with parasol completes the picture. Overall, there is an excellent price-quality ratio!

Moreover, it is a pity that two of the six days our rest was considerably disturbed by a motocross event. You would say that these types of events are known well in advance, so you can also report this to your customers . Too bad, a missed opportunity.

A neat and fully furnished house and kitchen with a spacious 5-burner stove. The beds were comfortable for us; we slept well. A good adaptation would be a light and heat reflecting "floating" roof. Or an air conditioner, but that is not a sustainable option. It was in fact -mainly "in the evening) very warm in the house; this was partly because the sliding door had to remain closed to keep out intrusive ducks, but the house itself is not to blame for that. Nor is the annoying fact that the ducks continuously soil the terrace with their droppings.

The arrival was so-so could not German. The accommodation itself was modern and great except for mold in the bedroom which was temporarily hidden after the announcement. The environment is so much to see what you had to drive a bit. Parking is for pensioners rather not for young people. Nothing for Germans actually 98% Dutch. Park was nothing although a pool and a playground and a small snack for fries and croquettes but in the park you can not buy anything you have to drive a few miles for everything ... Me and my partner in their mid-thirties were by far the youngest and have Scared me ... But it's just my personal opinion. We would not go on vacation again.

Passed on to the reception that there was a terrible pit smell in the shower / toilet. The house was very cold in the morning and terribly warm at the end of the afternoon. A very poorly insulated house. So much so that when there had been a thunderstorm, the doors were turned off in such a way that they no longer wanted to open or close properly. On the outside of the house was a grid where you could see that there was water under the house. Electricity apparently costs nothing at this park because the street lamps were burning all day long.
