Everything was just perfect! The hosts made us feel welcome, and the farm had a warm atmosphere. The children enjoyed the playgrounds nearby, which was a plus!

We had a great time at this farm. The outdoor area was so relaxing and the kids loved running around. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We even brought our dog, which was a big plus! The only thing was that the WiFi was sometimes a bit unreliable, but that didn't matter much to us. We would definitely come back for more peace and quiet!

Our stay at the farm in Geesteren was simply delightful! The environment is so peaceful, surrounded by vast lawns and a beautiful garden. We spent our mornings sipping coffee outside, enjoying the serene atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking a pleasure. We also loved exploring the nearby forests and lake, perfect for a nice picnic. Truly a hidden gem for anyone looking to relax!

Our apartment (Kammenet) was beautiful and fully equipped. Good beds (personal), nice spacious bathroom with plenty of towels and a well equipped kitchen. Lots of outdoor space for the dog and lots of light and a view through the large glass front.

Sleeping on perfect beds, the very complete inventory and the friendly host and hostess have really charmed us! The Achterhoek landscape is beautiful autumn colors we admired, walking we enjoyed the silence. We were hoping for seeing barn owls or little owls but this did not work out.

Very friendly host. Apartments were neat, clean and fully equipped. Beautiful garden. Children were allowed to help feed the animals. The apartments are located in the farmer's yard, next to the stables. So keep in mind that you can smell this, we also had a lot of flies around us. Not a big hindrance for us, but good to realize this. We were there for a weekend and that was far too short to explore all the nice things in the area.

Nice bathroom with lovely shower and good chairs in the kamer.De beds are 2 meters, for me just a little too small, but are prima.De environment is wonderfully rural. You can not really walk in the whole immediate area but you just grab the car you sit in Borculo etc. The farm is still in full operation and you can see, hear and smell. I found that totally not annoying, but a few of my fellow visitors found the smell outside a little less -) Well worth it for people who want to cycle in the area or a weekend of peace. A large city such as Enschede is also reasonably close.

We (family consisting of grandparents and two families with small children aged 5, 3 and 1) stayed at the Davenport family in two cottages. The children enjoyed helping on the farm (cattle feed, play with the dogs along on the tractor) and space (nice cycling and playing football in the yard). The cottages were clean and tidy, and offered plenty of space. The hospitality of Dave family was very nice. We had a wonderful weekend!

It was a dog of less than a year old and playful. Explaining to children about this behavior is particularly useful and prevents anxiety. Our children are not accustomed to deal with dogs.
