It is a lovely old-fashioned cottage, the decor is partly original from the '70s (I think) and some more modern parts. We found this retro very pleasant, but if you are looking for modern(er), you shouldn't be here. Definitely for your peace, the space, and the views. We even saw deer walking from the living room. One thing: the bathroom as it is now (although clean and tidy) really needs an update.

You can cycle into Germany in no time. Then don't forget to bring a face mask. If you don't want to go too far, you can take short, well-signposted walks at Dinxperlo in the Wellinkbos. Nice house in beautiful surroundings. Bathroom looks a bit dated, but you have to look through that because everything works fine. Furthermore, everything you could need is available. The lady who receives you takes the time to explain everything to you. She also takes the trouble to put down flowers which makes you feel welcome. The reception of Mrs. Obbink was fine, but the accommodation is noteworthy. The kitchen and furniture are dated, the bathroom is super dated. Some lighting elements do not work or are bad or have been removed because it no longer worked. The site promised garage is not available because it is full of junk, so your car has to be parked under the trees, so you can get rid of bird waste every day. In the bathroom tiles are torn and the weather is in the stucco, also from The shower chair for the disabled should not be too much for me, I do not have to think about sitting in my chair. We were very kindly received by Jannie, who gave a clear explanation about the house and the area. We have been in Belvilla houses before, but this was the first time that the interior was so complete (we even found egg spoons) and that there was good quality stuff. This house stood out because of that. Only downside was the bathroom; it could use an update and there was a stale sewer air. However, everything worked here and the shower was good. The closets in the bedroom may still have a shelf, otherwise we liked this house very well. The area is fantastically beautiful and if you are lucky (and we were) you can see the deer walking through the field near the house. No shortage of squirrels, hares and pheasants either. Not even falling acorns, which were there in large numbers in October. That is why it was a pity that the garage belonging to the house could not be used. The weather let us down a bit, but you run that risk in October. We will definitely come back here for a second try!

The arrival went smoothly. we were way too early, but that was no problem for the nice Mrs. Janny. The location is perfect. It is wonderfully quiet and with good weather you can really enjoy the garden with fantastic views. The hedgehogs, hares and bats came up to a few meters in the evening itself! The cottage is neatly clean and the screens for almost all windows are very nice so that you can ventilate without insects coming in. The beds are fine (duvets were very warm, but of course we could also lie under the sheet) and the inventory is perfectly in order. Also great are the many free bicycles to use, including a tandem and an electric bicycle! The kitchen is somewhat dated and the old bathroom (although spacious and clean) is a minus. After one shower, everything was soaked with condensation and opening the window had hardly any influence on this. Even the other morning everything was still quite damp with the drops regularly falling from the cistern down your neck when you used the toilet :-) An active extraction (and new tiles) would really be desirable here. Nice house in beautiful surroundings. Bathroom looks a bit dated, but you have to look through that because everything works fine. Furthermore, everything you could need is available. The lady who receives you takes the time to explain everything to you. She also takes the trouble to put down flowers which makes you feel welcome. We had a lot of rain, so we couldn't do everything we wanted. Nobody can do anything about that. So who knows, maybe we'll get another chance. The bungalow and the surrounding area is well worth it.

The cottage in Aalten was a beautiful clean house where everything is on and on. Surroundings are pretty beautiful. Have cycled and walked a lot. There were even 5 good bikes and 1 electric bicycle. For repeatability.

The reception of Mrs. Obbink was fine, but the accommodation is noteworthy. The kitchen and furniture are dated, the bathroom is super dated. Some lighting elements do not work or are bad or have been removed because it no longer worked. The site promised garage is not available because it is full of junk, so your car has to be parked under the trees, so you can get rid of bird waste every day. In the bathroom tiles are torn and the weather is in the stucco, also from The shower chair for the disabled should not be too much for me, I do not have to think about sitting in my chair. Maybe Belvilla is still wondering if everything is right what they offer on their site.

The arrival went smoothly. we were way too early, but that was no problem for the nice Mrs. Janny. We were able to put the luggage in the hall and were given a clear explanation of how everything worked. Then we went shopping and when we returned everything was neatly cleaned. The living room is cozy. Good furniture and a beautiful view. The kitchen is complete, only the wall tiles are somewhat dated. One downside is the bathroom. Torn tiles a hopelessly outdated toilet group. The wall with tiles from grandmother's time. Too bad, some improvement is needed here. Furthermore, we enjoyed our stay very much. Many birds, including sparrows tits, woodpeckers, pheasants. Also seen rabbit squirrels and hares in the garden. A fantastic view over the area, you can enjoy cycling and walking. Winterswijk at 18 km. Nice village with a nice Saturday and Wednesday market. For us westerners a relief to visit this kind of villages. Aalten is a bit smaller but also cozy. We will definitely be back.

It was the second time we stayed in this house. That actually says enough. Everything was top-notch again. We now had much better weather, a rainy day all week. So we cycled and walked. You can cycle into Germany in no time. Then don't forget to bring a face mask. If you don't want to go too far, you can take short, well-signposted walks at Dinxperlo in the Wellinkbos. And of course you can also visit cities and museums if you want. In short, something for everyone. As far as we are concerned, worth repeating, we look back on it with great pleasure.

The location is perfect. It is wonderfully quiet and with good weather you can really enjoy the garden with fantastic views. The hedgehogs, hares and bats came up to a few meters in the evening itself! The cottage is neatly clean and the screens for almost all windows are very nice so that you can ventilate without insects coming in. The beds are fine (duvets were very warm, but of course we could also lie under the sheet) and the inventory is perfectly in order. Also great are the many free bicycles to use, including a tandem and an electric bicycle! The kitchen is somewhat dated and the old bathroom (although spacious and clean) is a minus. After one shower, everything was soaked with condensation and opening the window had hardly any influence on this. Even the other morning everything was still quite damp with the drops regularly falling from the cistern down your neck when you used the toilet :-) An active extraction (and new tiles) would really be desirable here. We were very kindly received by Jannie, who gave a clear explanation about the house and the area. We have been in Belvilla houses before, but this was the first time that the interior was so complete (we even found egg spoons) and that there was good quality stuff. This house stood out because of that. Only downside was the bathroom; it could use an update and there was a stale sewer air. However, everything worked here and the shower was good. The closets in the bedroom may still have a shelf, otherwise we liked this house very well. The area is fantastically beautiful and if you are lucky (and we were) you can see the deer walking through the field near the house. No shortage of squirrels, hares and pheasants either. Not even falling acorns, which were there in large numbers in October. That is why it was a pity that the garage belonging to the house could not be used. The weather let us down a bit, but you run that risk in October. We will definitely come back here for a second try!

We were very kindly received by Jannie, who gave a clear explanation about the house and the area. We have been in Belvilla houses before, but this was the first time that the interior was so complete (we even found egg spoons) and that there was good quality stuff. This house stood out because of that. Only downside was the bathroom; it could use an update and there was a stale sewer air. However, everything worked here and the shower was good. The closets in the bedroom may still have a shelf, otherwise we liked this house very well. The area is fantastically beautiful and if you are lucky (and we were) you can see the deer walking through the field near the house. No shortage of squirrels, hares and pheasants either. Not even falling acorns, which were there in large numbers in October. That is why it was a pity that the garage belonging to the house could not be used. The weather let us down a bit, but you run that risk in October. We will definitely come back here for a second try!

Lovely house. Located completely free in nature. Small road in front of the house where there is a bicycle route. Hares, deer, pheasants seen at the house. In the house everything is cozy and clean. Warm welcome .

The 'Huus in 't Hagt' was excellent for us. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit simple and dated, but everything is there and it is clean and usable. Bedrooms are fine and the living room is comfortable. The house is located in a rural area within walking distance of the German border and it is extremely peaceful. The adjacent field with a small orchard provides plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors in the sun or shade. We cycled a lot and it is recommended to get a cycling map of the Achterhoek region from the tourist information office in Aalten. A visit to the town of Bredevoort with its charming streets, bookstores, and cafes is worth it.

Reception by pleasant and friendly lady who gives good tour and explanation. Accommodation was fine and clean. There is plenty of privacy around the house and we have also observed the aforementioned game. The bikes are also great to use.
