Messcher Mill is a great location in the Limburg hills. For someone who is looking for peace and self-running is a great location for walking and touring bikes (many ANWB nodes. Failure Point for Margraten, Vaals, Liege, Spa (Francorchamps), Aachen (all within an hour's drive through beautiful Limburg roads. Groceries cca 3 and 5 km from Lidl or Plus.De present dog and peacock are not too friendly. (for stray peacock and rooster warned). Garbage Pick-up shows during our stay to be desired, allowing at least 2 days open trash container is (20 and 21 July)

This was great for the kids, pedal boats on the river. What a view! It was always very nice that you ever saw another piece Belgium. We have 8 adults and a small child the lovely summer Whitsun weekend spent in the Meschermolen. Fantastic building in a beautiful setting! The 8-person apartment was comfortable and large enough to stay. The contact with the hostess (and host) was friendly. Privacy from the outdoor terrace was not spectacular, but given the location is not insurmountable. A stay here is more than worth it and so highly recommended!

The Meschermolen is a fantastic location. When you walk through the gate you go back in time. That feeling is enhanced by the thick walls and vaults. Yet it is not lacking in contemporary comfort.
