We have lots of fun with a week spent in the Meschermolen.Er are many hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity, further places like Maastricht, Aachen and Vaals (three countries) within half an hour by car.

Corny cheaply furnished. Dark inside. Is filled with voorschriften.Geen shower water first night. Was first fixed the next day. Poor wifi (almost no) inside. Poor picture TV. Dogs must be leashed, except two of owner himself. Which are on all the tables and where is their stool? Also runs a potbellied pig and two goats around. Nice, but hygienic ?? Our granddaughter of eleven was unprovoked attacked by one of their dogs. Blouse was reimbursed, but still !! This proved not to be the first time that a child was bitten !!

The description was not right Downstairs was not a toilet (or mentioned) There was a double bed available, where the description spoke of 4 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds.In the area was plenty to see. Messcher Mill is a great location in the Limburg hills. For someone who is looking for peace and self-running is a great location for walking and touring bikes (many ANWB nodes. Failure Point for Margraten, Vaals, Liege, Spa (Francorchamps), Aachen (all within an hour's drive through beautiful Limburg roads. Groceries cca 3 and 5 km from Lidl or Plus.De present dog and peacock are not too friendly. (for stray peacock and rooster warned). Garbage Pick-up shows during our stay to be desired, allowing at least 2 days open trash container is (20 and 21 July)

The stay at the Meschermolen was very aangenaam.Met two family "s in a cottage on the Meschermolen any problem.We had a nice 8 person apartment with four bedrooms three toilets and two badkamers.Voor the children were still a number of playgrounds in The garden to the side where they could fine vermaken.De Meschermolen itself was originally a water mill, and it could be seen, what we have done and what we have experienced a lot of fun running at the request of the owner takes the time for you to explain where all of what is and when it is restored. Maastricht take the train to Eijsden, but the last part, we cycled and that was wonderful, the setting is very nice and there was lots to do, we do with the car made several trips:.. we have a day at the Drielandenpunt been Vaals and then have dinner at the mill pancakes, we visited the castle in Eijsden, a terrace and there caught "in the afternoon the day beach visited East Maarland. This was great for the kids, pedal boats on the river. What a view! It was always very nice that you ever saw another piece Belgium. We have also been a trip to Monschau in Germany, where we climbed to the ruins, cheap shopping done at the Schlecker drugstore and good in the playground have been in the city park. We have 8 adults and a small child the lovely summer Whitsun weekend spent in the Meschermolen. Fantastic building in a beautiful setting! The 8-person apartment was comfortable and large enough to stay. The contact with the hostess (and host) was friendly. Privacy from the outdoor terrace was not spectacular, but given the location is not insurmountable. A stay here is more than worth it and so highly recommended!

Superb location in the hills. Overnight in a house for eight people in February 2010. Excellent basic facilities available. Some bedrooms and beds a little small. Prima toilet: each floor shower and toilet. Kitchen well equipped. Lots to do in the area: Maastricht, hiking, Maasmechelen etc.

The Meschermolen is a fantastic location. When you walk through the gate you go back in time. That feeling is enhanced by the thick walls and vaults. Yet it is not lacking in contemporary comfort. The reception was very friendly. In the courtyard nibbled a kid to the vegetation, while watching beaten by the two dogs of the owners. In the meadows were grazing. In a beautiful, more than 350 year old water mill in the feed, is this holiday apartment. The courtyard is prachtigg, ditto for the area. A first terrace at the door. First, we did not have good reception on arrival. We were welcomed by a lot of bird droppings. Already at the entrance on the ground floor We were a group of seven people for a week. What a nice accommodation like this we had not encountered yet. It radiated real peace in a beautiful natural environment. When you came home after a trip, you really relaxed in spite of the common front yard, you were absolutely uncomfortable and conversed with each other.

A cozy location. Only on arrival no reception! Looking for someone who was working there. They only ask about your name? so simple. From the inside everything looks neat. Beds sleep well. Ideal for people who enjoy walking and cycling. Here you can profit from the excellent Dutch cycle network without the proverbial flat dutch landscape. Watch out for the tour around the Mill on a Thursday night. Well worth seeing. We nearly missed it. This is the ideal place to practice your languages. You are closer to French speaking Belgium than most parts of the Netherlands. Aachen or Aken is only a few miles away in Germany and many locals in Limburg speak German. Have fun.

A superb accommodation with an environment where everything is possible. Hiking, biking, visiting Maasticht or Liège. We were lucky with the weather so that "we still could zitten.Kortom evening out, a must!
