Holiday Home in Schoorl with Fenced

Schöne Umgebung, Radfahren und Wandern sehr gut möglich; Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar; große und breite Strände sehr schnell erreichbar; vor allem mit dem Fahrrad. Auch Ausflüge nach Den Haag, Amsterdam usw. innerhalb einer Autostunde machbar. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohnumgebung. Die Terrasse ist aus unserer Sicht sehr schön angelegt und nach Süd-Ost ausgerichtet. Zum größten Teil auch nicht einsehbar. Trotzdem gibt es einige Dinge, sie verbesserungsfähig sind. Es fehlt z.B. eine Gartentür, die den Zugang und den Blick vom Weg auf die Terrasse versperrt. Der Abstellpatz für das Auto ist deutlich zu klein (Länge und Breite!). Das Geschirr und Besteck wirken doch eher "zusammengewürfelt", es fehlen z.B. Eierbecher. Auch Ablagefläche im Bad ist kaum vorhanden. Das nervigste Problem für uns waren allerdings die Mücken. Sicherlich nicht verwunderlich, wenn ein stehendes Gewässer direkt neben dem Haus verläuft. Viele andere Häuser in der Umgebung sind allerdings bereits mit Fliegen-/Mückenschutz an den Fenstern ausgestattet, was die eine oder andere Nacht viel angenehmer gemacht hätte, weil die Fenster hätten offen bleiben können. Dies war zwar unser erster Urlaub in Holland, aber nicht unser letzter. Allerdings würden wir dieses Haus in der Sommerzeit erst nach einigen Verbesserungen wieder mieten.

The house is in good used condition. However, mosquitoes were already there at Easter.

The arrival was fine ... We were allowed in the house earlier. By and large it was clean. The heating was very low (13.5) and we did not get it on at first. Only after we had pressed the reset button did the heating turn on. It took a long time for the house to warm up. We got the impression that it had been empty for a long time. We also could not find the manual for the cooking installation. After a long time it worked. The house was very light and let in the sun well. It was spacious and comfortable. However: we found the furniture a bit dingy (fabric upholstery) and the corners were not really clean. It is a pity that we are not a fan of plastic flowers. We found a lot of personal items in the cupboards. But that was largely made up for by the beautiful surroundings and the tranquility in the park. Also a large garden although we were sorry that it was tiled. The dunes are beautiful and the village of Schoorl is within walking distance. The beds were good too! In short, we still had a wonderful week.

Overall, everything was very nice, only the caretaker had little time for the necessary information about the house and the environment. A tip would be mosquito screens on the windows.

We were received by Pien and that immediately felt right. So a sweet and friendly reception. The house was like the pictures on the site: cozy, clean, spacious, logically laid out and a well-equipped kitchen.Not everything so fitted, but spacious in the plates, cutlery, etc. And even various herbs.With each faucet (kitchen , toilet and shower) a soap pump.Plenty spacious bedrooms and plenty of closetruimte.Goede beds.Een a good shower room with toilet and sink.Wifi is also very goed.De environment is very quiet.There is also when you sit in the spacious garden And always be able to sit in the sun, possibly out of the wind. "Location outside the Schoorlse Duinvoet is also very beautiful, idyllic and quiet.

We booked this house because we wanted to relax in a quiet environment and relax. This has been a complete success for us. The house is located in a traffic-calmed area, is very spacious (for 4 persons) and offers a nice outdoor area with sufficient seating. If you like hiking or cycling, is here in the best way. The bike paths are superbly built and the dune landscape offers nice hiking possibilities. The beaches are a bit distant (by car a quarter hour), but beautiful. The town center, which can be reached on foot in a quarter of an hour, offers shops of all kinds and restaurants for every purse to choose from.

Beautiful environment with many opportunities for cycling and walking. Yet some hiccups quality beds / mattresses are not so good, a CD player missing, the code given did not have access to WIFI to krijgen.De hostess explained to us about us about arrival and departure, which was handy.

The house was ready and comfy when we arrived late. The open kitchen made cooking easy. Loved how much light came in, perfect for our morning coffee. Access to the dunes was quick and enjoyable, definitely better than what I expected from a holiday home.

Would tell anyone passing through to stop here. The kids were thrilled playing outside while we cooked and enjoyed the nice atmosphere.
