You will find this modernized holiday bungalow on a small-scale holiday park in North Limburg, on the border with Belgium. There are 3 bedrooms and the property is ideal for families. In addition to trees and lots of greenery, the park is characterized by a beautiful fen. For a small fee, your four-legged friend is also very welcome. If you want to use the sauna, we kindly ask you to reserve the towel set (€7.50 surcharge).
You can endlessly walk or cycle through the beautiful nature reserves. In the immediate vicinity you will find nature reserves such as Tungelerwallen and the Strampoyse Heide. The region offers beautiful cycling routes and beautiful golf courses in the vicinity. For places of interest you can visit the cities of Weert and Roermond, or monumental villages such as Thorn and Maaseik.
The fen is the center of the park, surrounded by the bungalows, a playing field and a brasserie. The bungalow is equipped with a modern kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with a walk-in shower and extra windows have been placed for more light in the living room. The terrace with a barbecue has a wooded view. You can store bicycles in the storage room and there is also free WiFi. Finally, there is a launderette in the park.
The house is gradually being renovated with new paintwork and furniture. Except for a rare missing plinth, guests will not notice this.

Accidentally booked the wrong date because the website defaults to a +/- of 3 days. This is poorly visible on a mobile phone during booking. I chatted directly with customer service, but I could no longer change or cancel for free. The next day I called, and I was also not helped well. Then I wrote complaint letters, and I have not received a response to those to date. Had phone contact again and emailed the homeowner. Again, no good solution. I am very dissatisfied with Belvilla and the handling of my complaint. I realize that I made a mistake, but the way it is dealt with is poor. The standard +/- 3 days is misleading because if I want a broader search, I should be able to select that myself instead of it being standard. Now I have lost a lot of money and I have not received a good solution.

The house would originally have been ready for occupancy from 3 PM. However, due to traffic, we only arrived at 7:30 PM. At 6:30 PM, the landlord tried to reach me and left me a message that we have to switch to the neighboring house. However, this would be identical to the house we actually booked. We booked a house with a sauna because we wanted to spend 3 days on a sports, relaxation, and sauna short vacation. Upon our arrival at the other house, we unfortunately found that the house was smaller and did not have a sauna, which we had been looking forward to all day. We were not allowed to move into the originally booked house because the freezer was not working. Unfortunately, the communication with the landlord also turned out to be impolite after I told her that we would like to move into the booked house, as we do not need a freezer, but would like to use the sauna, since we booked the house because of the sauna. I then only received the feedback that this is no longer possible today, as the house has not been cleaned. (Interesting, we would have arrived at 3 PM if it had been possible; would we have then moved into a dirty house? I only received the landlord's message at 6:30 PM) Tomorrow she would see that it would be cleaned and we could move in. No apology, no attempt to sort it out... I was very frustrated because we were only there for 3 days and the sauna that we had been looking forward to all day could no longer be used, and the reaction of the landlady was unsatisfactory. The next morning, the house was cleaned around 9 o'clock, she knocked and pointed out that we could move. So packing things, re-making the beds... On the 2nd day, the "window roof cleaners," who had been making "noise" at the house the whole time, could see into the house while we were trying to sauna, shower, and relax. Showering and relaxing were therefore not possible again at that time. Furthermore, no one uses the paths on site and practically walks through the green area directly in front of the entrance door. One is always being watched, meaning when one wants to move freely, coming out of the shower, one is visible to everyone who does not use the paths but walks between the houses. All in all, this was supposed to be a relaxing vacation from the stressful everyday life. After 3 days and such annoying events on site, we unfortunately returned home feeling little relaxed.

Muizenoortje has exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and even gave us tips about local attractions. The swamp in the center of the park is a lovely spot for morning coffee, and our dog had a great time exploring the grounds. The spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms made our stay enjoyable. We can't wait to return and explore more of North Limburg!

We had a delightful stay at Muizenoortje, The beds were comfortable, and the living area was spacious enough for our group, The location is quiet, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring, The only downside was the WiFi, which was a bit spotty at times
