This single-storey, detached chalet is located in water-rich holiday park Recreatiepark Het Esmeer. It is located in the forests of Gelderland, directly on the recreational lake the Esmeer and about 21 km from 's-Hertogenbosch.
This carefully furnished chalet has a living room with TV. There is an open-plan kitchen with a microwave. There are two bedrooms in the chalet, one of which has a double bed and the other a single bed and a bunk bed. In the bathroom you'll find a shower and a toilet.
There is a garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There's parking for one car at the chalet.
At holiday park Recreatiepark Het Esmeer, various chalets for four to six people can be booked. Some types of chalets have wellness facilities such as an outdoor sauna and bubble bath.
Some parts of holiday park Het Esmeer are under development. There may be construction work going on. Any inconvenience will be kept to a minimum as much as possible.

Fishing, surfing, sailing or walking? It is all possible on recreation park Het Esmeer. The park is beautifully situated in the Bommerlerwaard on a peninsula between the Maas and the Esmeer recreation lake. This lake lends the park its name. It is located in Gelderland, but you can easily reach the province of Brabant with the nearby pond. The De Neswaarden recreation area is located directly next to the park, free access for everyone. There is a separate swimming area for the kids, lawns for sunbathing, a playground and a large swimming lake. The park itself has a brasserie, a snack bar and various sports and play areas. Docking spaces can be hired. An ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts. In the direct vicinity you will find lovely villages such as Woudrichem and Zaltbommel. There are various quiet beaches only a stone's throw away. This historic fortified town of Heusden aan de Maas and Den Bosch are certainly worth a visit. The Efteling and Beekse Bergen are within easy reach for the necessary adventure. Recreation park Het Esmeer, a water-rich park, is ideally suited for seekers of peace and quiet and nature lovers.

The chalet was located in a beautifully landscaped holiday park, with many water features. Too bad we didn't have a view of the water, but that was an afterthought. Maybe something for next time. It was nice that there was a parking space behind the house. You weren't looking at the car that way. The garden was large and beautifully landscaped. There was sun from early in the morning until late at night, but later in the day there was also a shaded area. The kitchen was neat and functional, the bedroom had excellent beds and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was a bit below par, hardly any place to hang your towels, nowhere a hook and the toilet roll had to be on the floor. Also no bath mat so you stood on the wet floor after showering. There was also little space to put your toiletries. Furthermore, the house was poorly insulated. During the day it was 28 degrees, but inside it was 32!! Then we didn't have a heat wave, how hot will it get! Fortunately, the bedrooms were cool and you could later open the windows against each other and it cooled down well. Fortunately we were not bothered by mosquitoes. The area was beautiful, including Zaltbommel and Heusden we visited, we also went to Den Bosch. The Bommelerwaard is more of an area for cycling than for walking, but we walked a lot in and around the park and in the towns. Later we discovered that the ferry went to Veen on the other side and that shortened the trip to Heusden enormously. The Bommelerwaard is very worthwhile, it was nice to discover that part of the Netherlands. The restaurant was a lovely place to have a drink or eat. For shopping we went to the Jumbo in Zaltbommel or to the Albert Heijn. We were also very satisfied with the customer service. Very friendly and solution-oriented. House beautiful and spacious. Neatly clean on arrival. Kindly received. Terrace and garden could have been a bit cleaner. We have removed weeds ourselves between the stones. Work is still being done on the park. The workmen start at half past seven.

Very nice holiday, especially for our children with 7 and 4 years. Great place. Super quiet for us parents. No noise in the park. The surrounding area was not complete in these 10 days. Visits in castles and castles, bicycle tours, market visits, beach with the most beautiful children's playground in direct connection to the park, to a tropical Hallendbad in 30 minutes distance. It could be even more beautiful, there is not one beauty fault in this area. Unfortunately one is not always arranged for Germans. All brochures were only in Dutch or possibly in English. Even in the park, there was some information about the use and handling of e.g. Microwave with many additional functions, garbage separation (what comes where pure, plastic bottles are returned again), how does the washing machine. The parking operator would have to provide only one app in different languages or a PDF for download. What we especially noticed was the pleasant extreme cleanliness in general. All in all, a holiday to the recommendation. Also we will be back. THANK YOU.

Very nicely mobilized, bedroom for children very small, well equipped kitchen. Living room was good in size with television and German programs, leatherette seats very shabby. Nice garden with garden furniture and wonderful surroundings. Great swimming lake, super great adventure playground, very child-friendly.

Very quiet park with basic but fine house. Beach with water playground right next to the park are also not busy. It is a base for water activities or cycling. There is nothing else to do at the park itself. Restaurant in the park is highly recommended. The houses offer plenty of privacy with a large living room and a beautifully landscaped garden that borders on water. Unfortunately on warm days the house was like an oven. Wifi was of poor quality.

Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. Very outdated house. Dirty, dead insects in and around the bed and in lamps. Unreliable temperature of the shower (we had a screaming toddler because the shower suddenly gets very hot). Shower water that does not run off. Boiler that starts all night, making the whole house vibrate and you cannot sleep. Incomplete inventory (teapot and coffee pot without lid, etc.) dirty dishes in the cupboards. Significant water damage in cupboards. Rust in wardrobes. Beds made with duct tape. Very misleading photos.

The information that was communicated in advance was very clear, we knew what to count on from the start. The arrival went great, everything was ready for us and the reception was very helpful. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

Despite the fact that this is a "comfort" version, the decoration is only functional. No painting on the wall, for example, and that makes the interior with white wall and ceiling boring. Also no storage room or shed to store the bikes you brought along. For the terrace four garden chairs in a "five-person chalet".

At Belvilla I had specifically looked for a bungalow with a storage room. However, the storage room turned out not to be there. Therefore we have to leave our e-Bikes outside and we know from experience that they are very theft-prone. So we did not receive what we were promised. Contacting Belvilla is a hopeless task. Belvilla is unreachable, even on the phone number that was stated when booking. In short, I am very dissatisfied with Belvilla. I hope that Belvilla will not pass this problem off to Topparken, because they cannot do anything about it. I have concluded an agreement with Belvilla and then I can expect Belvilla to deliver as stipulated in the agreement.
