Nice, small house, clean and comfortable. Ideal for two people with a dog. The location is fantastic ..., right on the forest. The pretty town of Bergen is within easy walking distance. The beach in Bergen an Zee is really nice. We were there in March and the dogs were free to run everywhere.

Bergen is a cozy village with many nice restaurants and it is close to the beach. The cottage is small but fully furnished. We were there in September. Because the house is in the forest it is quite dark and moist inside.

We had a nice week in the Romantic Bergen house. The cottage is cozy and there is room enough for two adults and a dog. In the immediate area you will find beautiful forests and you walk through the beautiful dune area to the beach of Bergen by the sea. There are also various hiking and cycling routes. The center of Bergen is within walking distance. With the car you are in different cities like e.g. Haarlem, Hoorn, Purmerend and Alkmaar. We also enjoyed the beautiful flower bulb fields.

We enjoyed the peace and tranquility in "Romantic Mountains". It was pleasant to stay, situated very oed (close to beach and nearby shopping towns Alkmaar and Amsterdam). Beautiful walks, located near the forest and dune reserve. The owners were helpful with our questions, meanwhile, there is also a combi-microwave ;-)! Pity we have not seen the owners upon our departure. Definitely a must for those who want a day at sea!

Bergen is the ultimate place to relax. Nature, sea, dunes and woods make this area unique. The bike is the ideal partner to discover all this. Everything is easily accessible through the beautifully landscaped paved and unpaved paths. The quaint town of Bergen in the culinary field for everyone. The setting, the hospitality of the owners of the romantic cottage with thatched roof and lovely secluded garden, made for a wonderful holiday.

The cottage does have a nice romantic character and is in a quiet area. V.w.b. the interior, we note that the inside of the kitchen cabinets are dated. It smells somewhat inside muf.Ook lacked an oven. The shower room is but otherwise warm water on the small side.

Was a great week, also to be the weather was good and lots of sun then it's fine to Bergen, the village and the beach nearby. to relax we go back again.

We liked it very well. The interior of the house, the location - mountains, the place -everything very nice! Only wished I could have an oven. The landlords are very cautious, quiet and pleasant. Every morning we were woken by birdsong, the park directly across the street invited for jogging. In only few minutes one was riding a bicycle on the beach and the dune reserve. This pleased us as well.

The complete sequence of holidays unfortunately went totally smoothly. There are no complaints. As for the house, we were sadly disappointed about the sanitation, otherwise we liked the gingerbread house together with large garden and beautiful surroundings very. Sincerely

Very nice, quiet 2 weeks in which even the doomsday on 21/12. went past us ... we had nothing noticed here ... A friendly place to relax just once. We will gladly come again wieder.Natürlich with dog. Everything was OK!

We had a wonderful stay and will probably return again however I felt 50 euros was excessive for cleaning when it was spotless when we left and is normally included in rental with other companies we use.

The cottage is near the forest and center, but it is not as free as perhaps does prevent the photo. It stands between two large houses. Furthermore, a wonderful stay.

Booked for a long weekend in October 2023
Left early because the cleanliness of the house was not okay.
Cobwebs on the lamps, sticky lamps in the kitchen, fridge not clean, towel with lipstick residue.
The owner should take more care of his property. Keywords: rusty bathroom radiator, and only one sensitive wine glass, but a lot of kitchen stuff from the previous tenants (oil, spices...)
Conclusion: The house really has potential, especially in summer when the garden can be used, but for us the price-performance ratio wasn"t right. We spoke to the owner and I can imagine that he will correct the deficiencies here.

The holiday home is located in the most beautiful part of Bergen on a park-like property next to the owner / landlord's villa. The owner's house, designed by a Rietveld in a modern, minimalist style, and the old thatched-roof farmhouse complement each other perfectly. In the small holiday home you feel right at home right from the start. The adjoining, old park with its enchanted watercourses invites you to go for a walk: Here you can let your mind wander. Annually changing exhibitions of large-format photographs by various artists, placed along the paths, offer variety. You can tell - I go into raptures: Yes - we feel very, very comfortable here - and that our dog can let off steam on the owner's property rounds off the stay.

Very nice omgeving.Vriendelijk reception by the hostess.Huisje on first entry very depressing. Living room dark and somewhat old-fashioned. Height of the spaces is a real problem for people over 175. Kitchen is modern and all necessary things are present. Garden is a wonderful place to stay. Fortunately, we had good weather, I would not have wanted to sit here in bad, dark weather.

Cute house perfectly located in a quiet spot near the forest and beach. Good contact with the owners and their children if there was anything. The bed slept well and the underfloor heating in the kitchen with extensive equipment, crockery and cutlery inventory was also very pleasant. The kitchen, toilet and bathroom were all stylish, modernly furnished and decorated and everything worked (only we couldn't get the ventilation for the bath and bedroom to work). It was all a bit on the tight side. In particular, the bathroom with shower was very small and the ceilings in most areas were very low. Sufficient for people up to 185cm, but less suitable for tall people. The interior of the living room was ok, but the sofa was somewhat jaded and quite "basic". And because we had to stay indoors due to the curfew, we ran into the DVD player showing malfunctions (did not load or crashed during playback), but luckily there was the possibility to watch Netflix. All in all, a great base for couples to make day trips in the beautiful, wooded area or to visit the beach. In bad weather probably less pleasant to spend several days.

We just got there for 1 night but is already great, the dog can walk freely everywhere, there are 2 neighboring dogs. And we enjoy the winter sun. Just once to the beach!

The location of the booked house in Bergen (Nachtegalenlaantje) turned out to be completely different from the photos on the website suggested. Sandwiched between the house of the neighbors and the parking lot / house of the owner. Nice to photograph the house like this. was pure deception and scam We left immediately !!!, unless you like disappointments, do NOT book this house.

When we arrived we were initially ignored by the landlord who was in the garden. Key was in the door, we knew we could get in. We were disappointed that it looked very different inside than the pictures (much smaller, darker and neighbors nearby). Door posts are 1m80, good to mention on the site. The garden is beautiful but must be shared with the landlords, this felt very unfree to us. Their villa is higher and has a view of almost everything.

Nice little house in the middle of the woods of Bergen, but a tad damp because of this. Bergen, Bergen aan Zee, Schoorl and beach and sea from here easily accessible by bike. Fine eaten in various restaurants in Bergen and Schoorl. Had a nice week.

You will find this cute, original farmhouse on a small lane. It is located in a quiet area, between gardens and forests. Be careful when entering, people used to be much smaller, so the doorway is low. But that also has its charms.
The kitchen is well equipped and fully equipped.
The room is slightly lower and is modernly furnished with great taste. Excellent furniture, reasonable dining table but big enough for 2 people. The serving hatch between the room and kitchen is useful.
The bedroom is large enough and the bed is great for sleeping. The house is so quiet, waking up early is almost impossible.
Shower room is sufficient.
The house is well heated during the winter period, and the underfloor heating in the kitchen is also wonderful.
The surroundings are fantastic, you can walk straight to the village along a beautiful avenue.
You can walk from the house, you can walk straight into the woods and dunes, both south towards Egmont and north towards Schoorl.
