Centrally located in the Netherlands, Tabaksschuur holiday park is the perfect base for taking a wide range of daytrips. Cities such as Utrecht (about 35 km away), Nijmegen (about 40 km) and Amsterdam (about 73 km) are within easy reach and offer a great wealth of culture and history to discover. The park is located near the centre of Elst and Amerongen. Elst offers a small shopping centre, while Amerongen has a charming old village centre with a variety of shops and restaurants. And of course Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen (about 12 km away) is a fantastic experience for the kids. Tabaksschuur holiday park borders the Amerongse Berg nature preserve, which is part of Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. This area is an absolute paradise for hikers and cyclists. The tranquil holiday park itself has a lovely layout, with two historic tobacco barns preserved as iconic landmarks. The park also contains various amenities for all ages. A small note we also have laid down with the manager is that we found the mattress on the double bed very hard.

We chose this year to book in an environment where I lived for 30 years. Chalet A great choice. Lovely little campsite, beautiful chalet and nice people. Adjacent to the beginning of the Utrecht hills with gentle paths and wonderful nature with no limits komt.Ook a new nature discovered Plantation William III, overflowing into the floodplains of Elst. Prachtig.Ook the hospitality industry in the area is excellent, but I knew from experience. Next year perhaps again!

It was a very nice apartment. The owners were very friendly and we have spent a great week. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather, but as we were traveling a lot that was not so bad then. It was just beautiful and we would go again repays.
