This detached, single-storey chalet is located in the lovely holiday park Parc De IJsselhoeve. This holiday resort is situated right on the Hollandsche IJssel, 18 km from the lively port city of Rotterdam.
The chalet is nicely furnished. There is a living room with TV and an open-plan kitchen with a fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, one of which has two single beds (set up as a double) and one bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
Enjoy access to a garden that surrounds the chalet and features a terrace and garden furniture. There is parking for one car at the chalet.
Various chalets for two to six people can be booked at holiday park Parc De IJsselhoeve.
Some parts of Parc De IJsselhoeve are under development. Any inconvenience will be kept to a minimum as much as possible.

Park De IJsselhoeve is a nice holiday park, located at 4 km from the centre of Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, in an area with lots of water, at the IJssel river near Rotterdam.
There are several facilities in the park. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool with children's pool. You'll also find a playground and a football pitch. During high season there's also entertainment. You can go to the restaurant, cafe or the snack bar for a nice meal or snack.
Not far from the holiday park you'll find recreation area Hitland. This is a nice area to hike and cycle through the varied area. There are forests, meadows and you can walk along the IJssel river. The surroundings feature a lot of water and you can also find moors here. There are water mills, stone ovens, peat holes and drainage ditches. You'll also find various bird species here. The surroundings offer a nice combination of countryside peace and quiet and city hustle and bustle. Cities like Rotterdam (18 km), Gouda (11 km), Delft (30 km) and the Hague (33 km) can easily be reached. Each has its own atmosphere and sights, but there're all worth visiting. You'll find various museums, restaurants, outdoor cafes and shopping possibilities here. The beach of Scheveningen is about 40 km away. A visit to De Biesbosch (39 km) is also one of the possibilities. There are several theme parks in the area. A few examples: Madurodam (The Netherlands in miniature) and Drievliet in The Hague, family and amusement park Plaswijck in Rotterdam, Duinrell with its Tikibad in Wassenaar and bird park Avifauna in Alphen aan de Rijn. Nice day trips for young and old.
The swimming pool is open from the 1st of May.

The cottage was fine, the park was very muddy due to renovation and bad weather and there were large puddles in many places.

Great house, but warm so you have to open windows / doors. Unfortunately, you immediately have a lot of mosquitoes inside. A screen would not be an unnecessary luxury. Beautiful environment.
