Recently (2018), three types of detached, ground-floor chalets were added to Holiday park Kijkduin.
There's a 4-person Comfort type (NL-2555-14). This modern chalet features two bedrooms and two bathrooms with walk-in shower. There's a separate toilet.
There's also is a 4-person Wellness chalet (NL-2555-15). This chalet is also furnished in a modern way and features two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. This chalet offers an extra infrared sauna.
Finally, there's a 6-person Comfort type (NL-2555-16). The chalet features three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with walk-in shower and there's a separate toilet.
All chalets have a living room with smart TV. In the open plan kitchen you'll find a dishwasher, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. All beds are single beds, possibly in a double set-up. Outside, there's a terrace with garden furniture.. You can park your car near the chalets.

Location and surroundings of object
If you are looking for tranquillity and pleasant scenery, the Kijkduin Holiday Centre is the place for you. It is in a beautifull location just behind the sand dunes. The beach is very easy to get to and you can enjoy refreshing cycle rides. There is an indoor swimming pool with a toddlers pool. As a guest you can use them free of charge. There is a nine hole golf course next to the holiday park. It is easy to visit interesting places such as the Madurodam Miniature World, the Sealife Centre in The Hague/Scheveningen and cities such as Delft and Leiden. The park has comfortable dune chalets and detached dune villas. They are all equipped with every modern convenience. The Kijkduin Holiday Centre offers a sea of opportunities for a great holiday
The Kijkduin Holiday Centre is a very child-friendly family park with many facilities for young and old.
Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 22.
2 November till 10 February : Due to large-scale renovation work on the central building at Kijkduin Holiday Park, the following facilities have limited access or are even closed: supermarket, catering, kids club and reception. This depends on the work at that time. The pool is open (subject to COVID-19 rules). Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged 50 p.p. deposit.

Reception was friendly and the fairly new accommodation clean and tidy.Good beds and spacious sanitary facilities in the house. Park is located behind the dunes, ideal for a beach holiday. The Hague also offers many entertainment options for when the weather is not so good. In the park itself, several things are outdated and dated. But despite that a must in the Netherlands!

The location of the park and the park itself were fine. I found it a pity that some people put their garbage bags in front of the doors, which were then torn open by animals at night and the garbage lay around in the area and on the paths. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. The armchairs and pillows had stains, as did the pillowcases on the mattresses. There wasn't much cutlery in the kitchen. On the positive side, the clogged shower was fixed within a few hours.

The greeting at the reception was friendly. The cottage was great, fairly new and nicely furnished. Very sparse, you have to order and pay for everything, towels, bed linen etc. These houses are the furthest away from the beach, quite a walk. And the route from the entrance to the cottage runs through a camping area with old, sometimes derelict mobile homes. Not really inviting.
