The cities of Leiden (approx. 16 km), the Hague (approx. 32 km), Amsterdam (approx. 42 km) and Rotterdam (approx. 52 km) are all within easy reach, as is the famous cheese market in Gouda (approx. 58 km). Sophisticated accommodation, measured and limited, we are not used to this. Accommodation was very clean, but the room of the double room smelled very musty and the mattress smelled. Reported to reception, have mattress cover and sheets picked up and not returned. Environment was good. Reception was good.

Holiday house and grounds, beach, dunes, hinterland, cycle paths, mentality of the inhabitants simply fascinating - gladly again.

The house (the type) was clean and well equipped. To complain about the small bedroom and throughout the house poor lighting. Unfortunately, the land was not fenced. For dog owners this is of course not great. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The whole park is clean and well maintained. There is a nice playground for kids. The path to the beach is quite far. It is advisable in any case, take or rent bicycles. This is no problem as everywhere in Holland. The beach is gorgeous. Also highly recommended for dog owners. Overall a nice holiday, albeit with small prints.
