If I come back, I would choose a different apartment, as apartment 2 (and 1) faces north towards the entrance and the parking lot, while the other apartments enjoy more sunlight and privacy. The apartment is tidy and well-furnished. Although the bathroom is a bit outdated, it is functional. There is a nice barbecue area and extra garden furniture for the guests. Make sure to book your bikes in advance, as they are often sold out.

Don't forget to bring your cooking essentials like oil, salt, herbs, and spices, as these were not available, despite our expectations of an Airbnb. Additionally, you should bring some handwashing soap for the toilet and consider bringing extra toilet paper if two rolls are not enough.

We had a pleasant stay in this comfortable apartment in De Cocksdorp! The location was ideal, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The private terrace was a perfect place for breakfast, and the shared garden was great for the kids to play in. The apartment was well-equipped, and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. We enjoyed biking around Texel, and the 25% discount on bike rental was a nice bonus! Highly recommended for families who want to explore the island.

We rated Apartment 2. It looks bright and inviting in the photos, but in reality, it is very dark. Artificial light is needed during the day. The furnishings are very functional and optimized for the final cleaning. It is very noisy. The kitchen is well-equipped, but there is no oven, even though there are many frozen foods available on Texel. There are two large bedrooms with good beds and a small bathroom. No one lives privately in this apartment, which goes against the concept of Airbnb. This apartment should not be offered on Airbnb.
