This fantastic villa is situated in Kaag. Ideal for a family, it can accommodate 8 guests and has 3 bedrooms. It has a private roofed terrace for you to rejuvenate and relax. It also has a jetty for you to explore the waters.
The lake lies 10 m from villa. The restaurant is 200 m from the home whereas the local grocery store is 200 m from the stay. The sea is 10 km from stay if you would like to enjoy a day by the beach side. Amsterdam and Leiden are also nearby to explore.
A balcony is provided for you to have some outdoor times with loved ones. Table tennis table is also provided for recreational purposes. A maximum of 1 pet is allowed in the property for an additional cost of 50/stay. Parking is provided in the villa. Childrens bed and high chair are offered for the kids.
The nearest airport is 15 km away from the villa.
You can check-in between 4-6 PM and check-out can be done from 9-10 AM.

It was / is December so the weather is not the nicest month, despite the fact that the area is very beautiful. You can have a great time there. We have planned to come back once in the summer months. On arrival (we were a little early) one phone call was sufficient within a few minutes someone came with the key so that we were allowed in. Very kind! The accommodation is fantastic in one word.

We were received very, very friendly. Since the house is quiet, you could sleep well. The walk-in shower with 3 !! Grab handles I really liked. From the lovely large terrace you had a great view of the water with passing ships. Since I like to swim, I would have liked a bathing jetty though. Key handover was smooth, the house is a good size, high quality and perfect for the disabled. The kitchen is for 8 people the self-supply a bit sparsely equipped. It lacks large pots, pasta strainer, bread knife and tea towels. But the other decor and the great location right on the water with the large terrace is just great. Parking is sufficiently available. We would come back anytime.

Wahrscheinlich müsste man den Gastgeber dafür befragen. Die Batterien der meisten Fernbedienungen (z.B. für die Betten Höhenverstellung) waren leer. Auch die große Uhr im Wohnzimmer stand, weil die Batterie leer war. Freundlicher Gastgeber, wohnt schräg gegenüber. Wichtig: Man kommt nur über eine Fähre auf die Insel! Bei jeder Rückfahrt müssen 7,80 € (Auto bis 3,5 t) gezahlt werden. Da kommt einiges zusammen. Es gibt auch eine 10er Karte. Diese kostet aber 78 €. Also wozu soll man die kaufen? Direkt neben dem Haus ist eine Art Gedenkstätte. Ein kleiner friedhofsähnlicher Platz. Wir standen auf der Terrasse und keine 10m weiter wurde von einer trauernden Familie die Asche aus einer Urne auf den Platz geschüttet. Es herrschte starker Wind und die Asche flog durch die Luft. Zum Glück wehte der Wind nicht in unsere Richtung.

The house turned out to be especially for disabled people. Doors that open automatically until the contactless pull through of the toilets. Stairlift available, which is very useful if people can no longer climb the stairs independently. The downstairs bedroom had a generous box spring bed, unfortunately it was too high for my father and he could not sleep downstairs. Fortunately there was a stair lift and he could lie on the other box spring. There was one small drawback in the other bedroom upstairs, there were some dated pine single beds, not comfortable at all and very creaky and noisy. There could so we do not sleep on it, so we had to sleep on the folding bed.

This house is highly recommended for the disabled; the house is equipped with electric doors, a stair lift and on the ground floor a bedroom with electrically adjustable beds. In addition, the house is very grand with wide passages. The view from the terrace over the Kagerplassen is also great. You can enjoy the sun and all the boats passing by here all day long. The environment is really beautiful!

Total lack of respect by the owner vis-à-vis the tranquility of the occupants. Non-essential work on the pontoon from 7 am until 9 pm for a week when we are forbidden to put music on the terrace! No respect for your privacy with unannounced visits. We are talking about a PRIVATE garden which is totally false. Barriers have been placed on the staircase to the terrace and on the pontoon to prevent access there, whereas on the photos of the site these are not present. If you want peace and respect for your privacy, avoid this location.

Beautiful, spacious and luxurious house, on the water, with jetty for the boat. Located on the island of Kaag, accessible by a ferry that goes back and forth continuously (route planner indicates 30 minutes, but it only takes 1 minute). There is not much to do on the island itself, but there are plenty of distractions on the water and in the immediate vicinity. We enjoyed the house and also the adjacent and recommended top restaurant Tante Kee, located in a unique place, with delicious food, good service, beautiful interior and a good wine list.

Beautiful house (exactly the pictures) in very idyllic camp with very nice, courteous and warm hosts. We have six + dog spent a wonderful week with trips to Leiden and Noordwijck. Kaag itself is very small and manageable, you can make beautiful walks and in the summer certainly wonderful all forms of water sports operate. We'll be back!

The house is excellent. The only downside is that there is a multipurpose space under the house, accessible to people from outside. This means that strangers pass in front of your bedroom window and through your private terrace. You hear voices and sounds in the house, which is a bit strange if you rent a detached house. The use of this space is also not announced.
