We went to this apartment for a week in September 2020 and chose this location because we were looking for a good base for day trips to, for example, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Florence and also like to go to the beach. This location is fine! The beach is very close (600 meters) and in the immediate vicinity there are plenty of nice eateries and supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment itself is very outdated and basic. There is no air conditioning, dishwasher, WiFi or any kind of luxury. If you don't mind, you can stay here fine. It is peaceful and quiet, yet close to the beach and the lively boulevard. The apartment is fresh and the bed was fine. On arrival it turned out that the shutter in the bedroom was defective; this is resolved the next day (on Sunday). Finally: there were a lot of mosquitoes and annoying rodent flies, but that seems a bit inherent to Italy because we had a lot of trouble with that in Veneto and in other (coastal) places. Bring a good plug or spray and lemon candles.

We have had a wonderful holiday here. The cottage is complete, the beds are good, it is clean and bright in a lovely quiet environment. With a walk of 15 minutes (with small children) you stand on the beach! A delicious ice cream parlor, a cafe, a bakery, a restaurant can be found within a 3-minute walk.
