Marina di Massa is a hearty and lively town by the sea and an ideal starting point for sightseeing and experiencing it. Possible one-day excursions to Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, San Giminiano, to the marble quarries of Carrara, etc. From June to the end of September: daily boat connections to the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere and to the islands.
Tips for beaches, restaurants, wine cellar, purchases and other suggestions receives the holiday guest in writing and verbally from me!

MARINA DI MASSA
A wide, wide and fine sandy beach, a crystal clear sea and a green, mountainous hinterland d and a fantastic and unique landscape are the basis for an unforgettable holiday!
The landscape changes in a few kilometers completely: from the sea to the Apuan Alps (2165 m high), whose riches have been appreciated by humanity since ancient times. Dreamlike
We were there in August 2024 and had a wonderful vacation. The facility is dreamlike, from the garden to the view and the apartment. Everything needed for daily use was available in the apartment. The arrival went smoothly. The landlords are warm and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would go there again anytime.

Great view from the house to Massa and the sea. The marble quarry Micheangelo in Carrara is very worth seeing and impressive. Pisa can be reached quickly and cheaply by train. The beach of Marina de Massa is a great sandy beach. We highly recommend the accommodation and the surroundings.

Holiday flat away from mass tourism
The very nice holiday flat with 2 rooms,2 bathrooms with shower and toilet and well-equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor of a terraced house with separate access.Furthermore, there is a great big garden with citrus fruits for the sole use and beautiful views of the mountains and the sea,a private parking space is located in front of the house.Nino,our always good-humoured and excellent German-speaking landlord made a small city tour with us on arrival,also otherwise provided us Fam. De la Pina with great tips.Shops and restaurants are easily and quickly accessible. The train station with direct connections to Pisa, La Spezia and Florence is a 30-minute walk away. For pure bathers, the beautiful beaches are a bit far, but quickly reached by car. All in all, we felt very comfortable and would rent again with the De la Pina family on our next Tuscany holiday. Thank you again for a very nice holiday.

Ideal flat for a holiday in Italy
The flat has a great location, only a few minutes by car to the beach and shopping facilities; restaurants and bars are within walking distance. There are plenty of places to visit in the area, we couldn't do everything we had originally planned in 14 days. Especially the mixture of mountains and sea in the area is impressive.
The hosts are incredibly friendly and give tips on places of interest, good restaurants or which wine to buy. We also got homemade salad and Nino accompanied us to the car repair shop when we had problems with our car.
All questions before and during the holiday were answered quickly, the reservation was uncomplicated.
For us, it is clear which flat we will take on our next Tuscany holiday ;-)

Great, country-style holiday
It was a great holiday. The landlord was very nice and helpful and always went out of his way to make us feel very comfortable and welcome. He gave us lots of insider tips and familiarised us with the country and its people. He was also approachable around the clock and was very keen to make sure we had a great time. We were far away from typical German tourism. The sea was 4.5 km away, but we knew that beforehand and were prepared to use the car accordingly. The accommodation itself was very clean and well maintained and had a great garden that we could use. The bedrooms were a bit in the basement, which was great in the hot temperatures. It was easy to reach the centre of Massa on foot. The price-performance ratio was absolutely right. We had a varied and relaxing holiday and would always recommend this holiday accommodation.

Top accommodation
We spent a super relaxing holiday in the flat. The flat had all the equipment you need for self-catering, nothing was missing. There was also a garden. We were within walking distance of a beautiful beach. The flat was very clean when we arrived. If we had any questions regarding excursions, our landlord was always there immediately in person and gave us tips. From the booking to the information/support before, during and after the holiday, we were very enthusiastic. We would definitely recommend the accommodation to others

Erholung pur
We spent our holiday in a beautiful vacation rental. Everything we needed was there. We loved the amazing garden that we were allowed to use - a little paradise! Outstanding and excellent.
The house is very well located, excellently equipped, with a view of mountains and sea, quiet, possibility to interact with local people. Our landlord, Mr. Della Pina, was extremely helpful, providing us with extensive and useful information on shopping, restaurants, excursions, and the country & people. Holidays in Tuscany
We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) were able to spend 10 days in this great holiday apartment. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired. Even though it is not air-conditioned, we always had a nice cool temperature. Location: pizzeria right next door, shopping facilities also within walking distance (5-6 min.) The beach is 4-8 km away depending on which section of the beach you want to go to. The booking and the information/support before, during, and after the holiday are exemplary! The landlord has many tips and interesting information about the area, beaches, restaurants, etc. Additionally, he speaks several languages (fluent in German). If you need something - he knows! Great vacation in Massa!!!!
Traveled as a family (1 adult + 2 children). We had a great and relaxing time in Massa. We lacked nothing, the apartment is very well equipped and clean. Great vacation thanks to Nino! Nino is the best host you can imagine! Thanks to his many restaurant tips and recommendations, this vacation became something very special. We felt at home in the apartment. We particularly liked that the apartment is not located in the very touristy town center. This way, we could get to know authentic Italy. Nino was not only the landlord but also a great host. We want to thank him for that because without Nino's great tips, the vacation would have only been half as nice.

Quiet location/ many excursion possibilities easily reachable. Well and cleanly equipped according to Italian standards. Great for families with children (we were with 3 children aged between 6 and 12). Refreshing Mediterranean ambiance with a small covered terrace, large, well-kept garden, cozy seating area, and enough space for playing around or unwind together. Approximately 4.8 km from the sea, a free beach suitable for smaller children with free parking facilities. The service is warm and personal, with a very nice and helpful landlord who is always available, providing good information about the area such as restaurants, attractions, and beaches.

Nice vacation in Massa. The week in Tuscany was very nice. The apartment is located a little bit away from the sea but is easily accessible by car. Since the accommodation is on a hill, you have a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. The garden was beautiful and well-maintained, and the terrace invited you to linger; we spent most of our time there as the weather was good throughout the week. Also very pleasant was the presence of two bathrooms. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival and all necessary (kitchen) utensils were available. Nino was a nice host who provided some tips (restaurants, places to visit) and even brought some food/drinks occasionally. The apartment is definitely recommendable.

Wunderbar erholsame Urlaub in Massa
We had a very nice time in Massa, not least because of the very nicely located and quiet apartment Nino. Here you feel right at home. The apartment is very well furnished and offers a very nice and well-kept garden with views of the surrounding mountains, as well as a terrace to relax and end the day. very relaxing and you could let your soul dangle
With two bathrooms and toilets, you can start the day relaxed with teenage children. The kitchen is small but sufficient for cooking small dishes. The parent's room is always relatively cool as it faces north and is not exposed to direct sunlight. The terrace is great for breakfast and in the evening with a glass of local wine. The baker and a very good pizzeria (it is small but great for picking up pizza and eating at home) are just a stone's throw away. Nino's service is excellent, and you always receive a detailed introduction to the amenities, the Massa area, and what it has to offer (beach, restaurants, sights. . . . . . . ). Our family felt very comfortable and can only highly recommend this apartment!
