It is a very remote outdated cottage that has no internet access. It is located in a forest which makes it very cold in the summer evenings. There is also a swimming pool, but this is without heating. Because the location is in the woods, there is little sunlight that can heat the pool, which makes the water freezing and you can not swim.

We were kindly received and received good travel tips from the owner. The cottage is previously for adventurers and offers very limited comfort. If you are cleaned up, you better take your polishware. The pool is not heated, that's nice! In nature very beautiful, just no noise and ideal for pets. In spite of summer, it was cold in the house before our arrival. Pricing quality in my opinion, rather a little too expensive.

Borgo Migliorini is nothing short of a magical place. An hidden gem tucked away in the beatiful Abetone mountain, it provided a marvellous frame for our wedding which we hosted here in mid-June. Blessed by fabulous weather, our guests raved about their stay in this cabin and were just mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The cabins are built with ex-novo materials salvaged by the hamlet's owner, who descends from a long line of illustrious artists and put his very soul in the restoration of this hamlet by scattering pieces made by his ancestors over the centuries. If you are not too fussy about things being polished, are a nature lover and rustic is your style, look no further. Great value for money.
