If you rent an apartment with a terrace, it cannot be that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and the terrace is on the ground floor...

Second year for us with this very nice couple. The house is still well maintained, the owners are very smiling and helpful. The Italian sun shines on their faces. The typical little village and the wonderful places to visit nearby make this location a perfect starting point. I really recommend it. Looking forward to returning.

The owner wanted to know an hour in advance that we were coming. The owner could only speak Italian which makes communication more difficult. The area is fantastic! Lots of nature! Lots of difference in heights, beautiful. The view from the cottage is also beautiful. In the village itself there are no facilities or playgrounds. For that you have to get out by car. You can walk a lot in the area, for example in Pitigliano ("Le vie cave" is very beautiful). These tours are varied and beautiful (also intensive) with many variations in heights. Visiting Saturnia (hot spring), Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea are very worthwhile, as well as Sorano (certainly also in the evening) and Pitigliano.
