Very helpful and friendly host. The house is near the city center (money exchange, restaurant, shop, gas station). Everything was good, highly recommended.

We received a warm welcome from the family with coffee and welcome drink. And there was a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. Unpacking suitcases in and enjoy. Knin The place turned out to be where you can grab an outdoor café. Many places a quiet relapse basis for our perception For shopping you should not be there, but there are plenty of places within drivable distance where automation is possible (Split, Zadar, Sibenik, Sinj). One or more visits to the Krka National Park are definitely worth it. With an hour's drive you to the coast and you can enjoy the sea. Water shoes recommended due to the pebbly beach with a full range Several supermarkets within walking distance. Who are well organized in the whole region. Pins with their own bank card everywhere. Croatians are friendly, hospitable people. Many speak English or German. We could us without a word Croatian knowing good save. The Wapp capability with the NL-speaking host family we are appreciated. The privacy that was left us.

I think Knin a good base to get to know. Various aspects of Croatia The atmosphere in Knin is also very different from the real tourist centers. It takes a while but once there is a tie, the people very favorably with practical help, tips and adresjes.Zo we were offered a free begtocht jeep in a nature reserve. Prices for the apartment and the eateries in Knin are also much cheaper than on the coast with the car still easily accessible blijft.In the apartment has everything and the owner does not want more than to assist you with advice and assistance. The law does this from Netherlands even in our language, and this gave it a sense of security.

We had not previously been in Croatia, and would not sit directly on the coast, but inland exploring. Hence the choice for this location. You can very from the house to the state (50 km) or to a large lake (10 km) so no lack of water. We have visited places such as the size Zadar, Split and Sebernik all between 60 and 100 km away. I have quite a bit of cycling on a road bike, nice and hilly .. You sit close to the border of Bosnia certainly worth watching once there too. You will still be much that is reminiscent of the war, as they quite some cleanup, but maybe that's too Dutch view on the matter. The daughter of the owner was present, who was married to a Dutchman, so no language problem. The owner and daughter and son are very helpful, and have many routes and places you can visit. If something needs to be then that is very fast in order. We have a nice holiday. Big congratulations to the owner!

Knin is a small town in the interior. You meet the ordinary Croat with his daily activities. Friendly and helpful people. The reception was very cordial. The owner does his best to make it to your sense and is very friendly. We are sorry that he speaks that makes communication difficult foreign language. The coast is an hour's drive along quiet roads.
