We had a fantastic stay in this stylish villa in Loutra. The sea view from the terrace was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The swimming pool was a great place to relax after a day exploring the nearby beaches. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

Villa Pelagia is a great place for those who want to visit Crete. From here we visited the Arkadi Monastery (+/- 10 km) and Rethymnon ... but we also went further to Ghania (very beautiful) and Kissamos (for boat trip and visit to Gramvousa and Balos beach) .. .. and walked both the Imbros and the Samaria gorge (Imbros is beautiful, Samaria is even more beautiful (though busy)), Kournas Lake. With the nice weather, the pool provided a pleasant refreshment. In the villa there is everything available (air conditioning, ample fridge, ...) and good beds.Comfortable villa. Well maintained. Quietly located (there are animal walks in the distance ... sheep, dogs ... but that did not bother us) but still close to centers like Rethymnon. Adequate eateries nearby (a few minutes drive).

We had a lovely week in sunny Kreta.Villa Pelagia is spotless, nicely decorated and equipped with everything (air conditioning, large fridge freezer, barbecue, deck chairs, ...) There is a shaded terrace where you can still warm outside can eat and a roof terrace in the sun. The pool is not very big, but large enough to cool off and is well onderhouden.Je anyway need a car to get to the house, run errands, make trips ... We have (despite the extensive, useful travel documents which we via email received from the owners) still just have to search to find the home (seems not recommended to arrive in the dark) The only downside was the noise from the nearby goat farm "early in the morning, the owner leaves with his herd which, however, sleep less sound sleepers is onderbroken.Dit weighed disadvantage for us not outweigh all the benefits it has to offer this villa.
