The location is great. I thought the photos were great, but in real life it is even better: very spacious house and a fantastic village where it is located.

The description of the house and the pictures are really consistent with what we found on site. We were very pleasantly surprised at the house despite a pitiful state road to get there. It n 'is not surprising when you know the roads grequesLa house is very nice is a bit isolated, thereby benefited from the calm and grillons.La pool is well maintained, the house is clean and sécurisé.Pour access to the pool must descend three steps which limit the "access to infants ages (no security as a barrier, but this n 'is not compulsory in Greece).

We found it in itself a beautiful house with all the trimmings, in a green environment. A nice pool. However, banks and beds were bad and the bathroom was very simple and small. Many barking of dogs guarding the homes in the area. All this would have to accept his true the night we paid not so extremely high.

We had a fantastic holiday in early May 2010 in this house suitable for 4 people (2 bedrooms). The rest of the house is pleasantly situated on the outskirts of the small village of Prines. The bustling city Retimnon, maybe the nicest town in Crete, is 5 minutes away by car. Villa Eleonora is located at the end of a dead end, which is one of two houses with between two vacant plots, so no immediate neighbors. Adjacent to the open backyard is a small valley with olive trees and sounds softly therefrom occasional bleating and the tinkling of a small herd of sheep through. The fine pool offers refreshment but also one swallow does an occasional dip in the water. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine in the storage room. Outside on the terrace, a BBQ if you want to get started, although the Greek cuisine course recommended is.Het village of Prines consists of a tavern with a terrace and a shop along a busy road, and is a 3-minute walk away good for fresh bread, water and first cup of coffee on the terras.De Dutch owner puts you in touch with the friendly caretaker va english

(If your window is open) Hope all vacationers who stay behind the house tidy, then we will definitely come terug.Een must! Greetings Mary, Mario and Rob

Wonderful, complete and quiet house in a alotment on the edge of Prinès, with the strongest point of the beautiful garden with swimming pool and sun loungers. The many, often aggressive barking dogs give the neighborhood a bit unfriendly appearance, but fortunately they are all sitting behind a fence or on a chain. The comments about the barking we understand however. The tavern in the village, thanks to the affable owner, worth a visit. A bus runs through the village, but for trips to the beach and attractions in the area is a car is recommended. We include Chania, the gorge and Phaestos visited all of an hour and five minutes drive from the house. The south-western part of Crete is too far away for good, unless you are about to have to remain in the autro sit. There is currently (end June 2011) worked on the access road, making the house more difficult to reach, but there are two alternative routes to the house: the village and parallel to the highway. The latter way is, however, in poor condition.

We went from 04 - 18.07.2011 in this House. The house meets the pictures, very well maintained and the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The assistance of Mary and Matthias site was very good. How we felt about well and had a very nice holiday.

Great house, situated on a hill. House is clean and meets all requirements. Rethymno and Lidl top is 10 min drive. Rental car is a must. Only downside is one bathroom and toilet for 4 persons.

The house is a bit isolated but that is pleasant for the rest. A rental car is needed. The view from the roof is stunning. The beds are a little hard but good. On the TV you can just see the Dutch news (but if you always want to?). The wifi works well. As more Mediterranean countries, there are some barking dogs in the area but not so that it was too disturbing. For our groceries we usually went to the Lidl on the main road and also at the Ariadni in Atsipoloulo. There is also an ATM in the village. We found the center and the port of Rethymno very beautiful, nice and cozy, especially "at night. Well eaten by Stavros there. We flew to Chania (also very nice downtown) and that's not a half hours drive. A trip to Heraklion and Knossos is also doing well. Driving times are on Crete usually longer than expected. All in all a great holiday.
Will-Jan van Cranenbroek
We have great enjoyed staying in this villa. Every comfort is present and you can sit out by the pool, terrace and views. You see in the distance even the sea. Highly recommended to fully unwind. A nice base to visit various dignities. The Dutch host is very friendly and helpful. In the town is also a restaurant with English speaking hosts who love to be pampered guests and get acquainted with the local cuisine.
